We’re centrally located to Hocking Hills, Old Man’s Caves, Lake Hope State Park, and Ash Caves in South East Ohio. We have the most beautiful area that Mother Nature has. We’re dead center of Wayne National Forest. You can drive in or fly in to see most impressive natural beauty that nature has to offer. Providing all the comforts of home along with all these Natural Wonders make Airport House a perfect place for your getaway.

Nick and Dinah are actively enjoying retirement. Nick has yearly hosted, literally thousands of local folks as well as people from all over the USA and parts unknown. He, with a bit of help, puts on Ohio’s largest *FREE* Air Show. At our little airport Air Show we’ve had everything from World Renowned Pilots (and their Aircraft) Wing Walkers and Flying Lawnmowers! He hasn’t missed but two years of putting on this Show, once was 9-11 and the other during Covid.
We love hosting our guests at Airport House and take pride in trying to make their stay with us perfect.



Why they chose this property

The scenery here is 99.9% quiet with the exception of the yearly air show in September and a very rare once in a while evening we get the pleasure of the most awesomely HUGE black helicopters come and practice a maneuver or two. I won’t say where they come from, who they are or why we’re so lucky to be the ‘spot’ but for me, it’s AWESOME!

Airport House is situated 9 miles from all Hocking Hills State Park, 8 Miles from Lake Hope State Park. (Lake Hope is the Second Largest State Park in Ohio). We are also Dead Center in Wayne National Forest.
