Located on the ground floor, this condo features updated tile flooring throughout. The kitchen and living room area is an open concept.
The living area offers guests plenty of seating space to sit, relax, socialize with friends, and look at the ocean! The flat screen tv is perfect for watching sporting events, news, movies, and shows. Guests will love preparing meals in the newly remodeled kitchen, which is fully stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. The large granite kitchen countertop allows a spacious area to prep food. Located off the living area is a spacious beachfront balcony where guests can feel the ocean breeze in their face, and take in views of South Padre's beautiful beaches and the Gulf of Mexico! The master bedroom features a coastal and comfy king size bed. There is a flat screen tv in this room as well for guest's viewing pleasure. The master bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom. The guest bedroom is large and entails a queen bed and full bed. This room also has a flat screen tv. The 2nd Guest bedroom features a Full bed and Twin Bed.

The location was perfect on the ground floor next to the boardwalk to the beach. I liked that they had chairs and a cooler to use. Plenty of space for a family of 6 and even more. Nice large TV and open dining space for fun family gatherings. Great views and access. The water heater was not working so we didn’t have hot water for a few days until it was replaced. Also the pans for cooking were pretty poor but we managed to make food the few times that we did. Overall I would recommend this place and would stay here again if we return to SPI.

We really enjoyed the space and layout. Location was fabulous and easy to get in/out to the beach and back. We would rent this unit again.

Perfect place for CLOSE Beach Access

This unit has the best ground floor beach view! You can walk right out the back door to the boardwalk that takes you to the beach. Love the location the best. The unit was very clean and updated. I didn't realize there is not a laundry in this unit or on the property but we made do and didn't really need the laundry for the amount of time we were there. This unit had everything we needed. It has a pop up shade cover thingy, we wouldn't have hauled ours 12 hours if we knew that. There were plenty of beach toys for the kids and patio chairs and also the best thing was the beach wagon that helped us get all of stuff down to the beach and back, thank god for that! Also was a clothing drying rack that came in very handy! The kitchen had every imaginable utensils. There is a grilling area by the pool for charcoal. The pool and hot tub was nice and clean. We loved our stay and will be coming back.

Nice But Could Use Some Upgrades

The location of this unit is UNMATCHED, with nice views of the ocean and just a quick walk to the beach we could not have asked for anything more! The condo had a supple amount of linens and towels but we were surprised a week before our stay with an email full of items that we would need to purchase from the local stores to make our week long vacation enjoyable. It was an extensive list. We had family staying in another condo just down from this unit and their condo was fully stocked . The guest bathroom drains were slow draining, including the bathtub and sink and in the master bathroom it looked like the drywall near the tub stayed continually wet pointing to potentially a leak in the wall. The unit was fairly clean upon arrival and does not have a washer and dryer which is a big drawback for us. Overall, we would come again just a few things that we would change to make this a 5-Star review.

Such an extraordinary place to stay: THE BEST

Best stay EVER on any beach and we have stayed at a lot of beach hotels, condos, homes, etc. we loved it. The kiddos were free to swim, hot tub, ocean swim, fish, boogie board, she'll pick, watch tv (which they SELDOM did), or eat. The condo was superb, clean and had laundry. Parking was easy and right there. People were friendly and the place was so safe, the kids could come and go freewill. The jetty was about a mile east walking or 4 minutes drive with amazing restaurants right there. Gosh was it a blast!!! We walked for beautiful miles and had so much we could do, my retired husband and I barely had time to get our nap. The condo was soooooo convenient. It was awesome. The staff at SPI Rentals was SUPERIOR!!!! I would give them a 110% rating. Friendly, helpful and very communicative. We called maintenance in once cause we aren't tv tech savvy. They were there in a heartbeat and showed us how to work them, (Duh me)! Lol!!! Sea View 2 was tremendous and their staff pointed us to their best we feel. Thank you guys and God bless you. Please keep up the excellent service, it was amazing!
