Historic City Park home within walking distance to all downtown has to offer!
Welcome to this charming 1900's Appleton home. It's in the perfect location for exploring the Fox Valley, minutes from restaurants, nightlife, shopping & live music. Walk the Fox Trail, visit the Houdini Museum or go to a show at the Fox Cities Performing Art Center! Once you open the door to this historic 2-story home, you'll enter into a large foyer with staircase to the right leading up to the 3 bedrooms and full bath. Straight ahead is our full kitchen and dining area including a large cast iron sink, gas stove and oven, overhead microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker (and coffee from one of our favorite local coffee shops!); all for use when inside. Our place also includes dishes/silverware and cookware to make meals during your stay.
Off the kitchen/foyer are two large sitting rooms decorated in their own unique vintage style. We love collecting amazing mid-century pieces and both of these rooms show that love. The plush velvet sectional is perfect for lounging while listening to vinyl on console record player!
Upstairs are the three bedrooms, each designed to be comfortable and relaxing. Our full size bathroom boasts the original clawfoot tub, perfect for a soak - that will actually fit your entire body!
Please note that as this is located in a historic part of the city there is limited parking. We have one stall available on the property. If more parking is needed we can acquire an overnight street parking pass free of charge.

Fully equipped kitchen, we like to cook meals when traveling and this kitchen has everything we needed to cook a nice meal. House was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

Nice place
Nice, comfortable place easy location access to anything you want
Fun place to stay, really loved the decorating. Location was great and just minutes away from The Bar where we took the shuttle to Green Bay for a Packers win. Such a fun weekend!
This is a great house in the heart of Appleton. Well-appointed kitchen, newly built back deck, comfortable beds, and two sitting rooms. The games, vintage vinyl, and decor make this extra fun.
We had a great stay. It had a really cool, retro design. Very clean and easy check out process. Great for a family of 5. Would definitely stay again

This property was convenient for our Mile of Music getaway. The property was the best stocked place I have ever stayed at and is very clean. The 70's vibe is so fun and you really feel at home. The one bathroom worked out fine for the 6 of us but mirrors in the bedrooms would have saved us girls time in getting ready each morning. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it. I would certainly book again.
Loved the retro vibe of this place. It was so clean and the owner thought of everything. The kitchen had everything you would need and also a little extras in the bathroom that you might have forgotten to pack. The owner was very responsive to messages. This is located close to downtown and a beautiful city park. Would definitely stay again.
Had a fun, comfortable stay here. Charming older home. A blast from the past as we listened to old rock and roll records and played Yahtzee at the kitchen table!
Easy access to LU, and lots of great restaurants. Stay here!!
Location was perfect...walk to beautiful park maybe a block away. All kinds of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums, etc.... all within a reasonably easy walk. Lawrence campus and river just a couple of blocks away.
Really like the personality of the place...lots of retro and cool vibes. Albums, games, macrame (google it if you don't know).
Would give a heads up that if you have a challenge with stairs...all bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs
Awesome property and definitely recommend!
Very nice old vintage house with a unique 70s retro vibe. The property is clean, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The house is 100+ years old which adds to the charm. There is parking for one car on the property, and additional street parking is also available with an easy to get permit. We had a party of 4, and were very comfortable here. The neighborhood is active, and there is a great park a block away. Thanks to the hosts for being so accomodating and easy to communicate with!
This property was a perfect oasis during our weeklong EAA adventure! The house has been renovated and the owners are continuing to improve on the house, as evidenced by the brand-new patio in the backyard! The house has been furnished with an eclectic variety of mid-century modern furniture and details, with a focus on the best live music of the 60s and 70s. The prime feature was a console record player and a hearty selection of records for our listening pleasure!
The house was more than spacious for four guests, and although the driveway only has room for a single vehicle, it was a non-issue due to street parking. Our trip even involved us leaving an item there, and our hosts worked with us to ensure it got back in our hands.
If we ever need a place to stay in the Fox Cities again, this home will be at the top of our list!
