About this property

Tiny Shiny Airstream, River-Front 20min from SLC

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable Airstream Basecamp escape with a river-front parking spot, clean air, bright stars access to trials out the back door!

Just 20 min from Salt Lake City Center in one of Salt Lake City’s most desirable zip codes!

Trailer has hot water, stove top, mini fridge/freezer, heated, AC.

Cute outdoor area off my front street but not many cars up here!

Natural spring close

Take your love up here and connect

Fall asleep to the sound of the river!

My fantastic 1970s mountain home has plenty of room so I’m sharing my 2017 Airstream Basecamp set up with water and power. It is parked Riverfront so you can hear the water and energize from busy city life. It has electricity, fast Wi-Fi, heat, and cooling gorgeous window views, and dedicated offstreet parking next to the Airstream. You have your own little mini porch next to the River as well!

From here you can walk up into the mountains through my private access through my back of my property as you can see in the cover photo! Or you can walk to popular Killian Canyon Trail, right from the Airstream door.

Right down the road you can also go and fill up your water bottle in the Henderson Spring!

This will be a unique experience that you won’t forget! I live in the mountain home adjacent from the Airstream, but I’m very busy with my real estate company and you may or may not see me much. I will be friendly and say hello but I will give you your space as well! The Airstream is stocked with basic cooking Supplies just to prepare a light meal. There’s even a microwave.

Sit out on the bistro table and chairs in front and just breathe in the fresh mountain air and don’t forget to look up at night because the stars are bright as we are away from the inversion and the light pollution.

The holding tank that holds the water is very small and when it’s full, I have to hook up the trailer and tow it away to go empty it before bringing it back and setting it up again. Therefore, I ask that you are extremely conservative on your water consumption. Even though we have unlimited supply of water coming into the trailer that is fresh and drinkable once it goes down the drain or the toilet it goes into a holding tank and I do not have full hook ups so I must Tee the holding tank elsewhere. This is why I only allow short and I have conversations with my guests to make sure that they are extremely conservative on how much water goes down the drain throughout their stay.

If you have needs to do laundry or take a longer shower, talk with me and depending on when you’re here, I might give you access to my house bathroom and washer dryer.

Little Dell Reservoir is six minutes away from here and I have kayaks and I might be able to arrange for you to take the kayaks on the water at your own risk.

You’re welcome to use the Airstream the parking around it. Enjoy the river out front of it and you can even go down on the side over in front of my house where my barbecue grill is and grill food down by the river and little magical waterfall area.

This is a perfect Basecamp if you’re here to explore. The Canyon is a very popular canyon for biking and running, and you will see people riding their bikes up the canyon.

I am nearby but I will give you your space. I am friendly and will say hello and I will let you take the lead on how much interaction you want. I’m super social and would love to have an opportunity to meet you. We can sit out on the deck and have a fire under the stars and have a beer… if the stars align, pun intended.

Park City is home of the 2002 Winter Olympics for a reason. We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain views, lakes and stream. Top places for hiking, fishing, skiing, boating, skiing and snowboarding.

Our unique Streamline Ski lodge is located about 6 Minutes drive from the ski slopes and the massive Vail owned Park City Ski Resort. Its very close to the Utah Olympic Park as well. You can also easily take a quick drive or Uber ride gets you up into Historic Park City Main Street with dining, night life, bars and shops. We are parked and all
Setup for full-time `glamping` (glamorous camping) a clean RV Resort just north of the I-80 right where you would turn to head up the the Olympic Park. It has full hookups and parking for a single vehicle next to the Airstream.

There is building with, gym, bathrooms with showers, arcade, and hot tub, but these services are for guest use only and while you are with us you are our friends and family. We will be calling soon after your booking is made.

We live in Sugarhouse about 28 minutes or so down parleys canyon and about 12 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport.

Park City has a free bus route. You please look online for details:

There are several shuttles and cabs that can drive you from the Salt Lake Airport to park city. Uber and Lyft are very efficient in Salt Lake City and you even have the ski Uber option to make sure your gear makes it up safely.

If you have a car you can park it on the same spot of the Airstream on the concrete designated spot, not on the grass or on the street.

Follow the 1 way traffic arrows and signs and be sure to go only 5mph in the park.

There is a gas station located north about 1/2 mile on the frontage rd too and that place has a subway and large selection or toiletries and what it too. There are countless restaurants and a movie theater only about 1.5 miles east on the way to the ski resort and historic downtown Park City as well.

I don’t have a TV inside the airstream. It’s a small space and generally, I want to encourage people to disconnect from electronics. However, you can connect connect to my Wi-Fi from the Airstream and it’s reliable and fast and I have set up there and streamed music or Netflix.

Cute setup. Some hot water issues but great location. We were about 20 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. It is a glamping experience-it's an Airstream! The weather was great so we took total advantage of the deck. Recommend for stays in Salt Lake City

Very cute spot

We had a great time. It was a quiet airstream in a nice backyard. There was outdoor games and the hot tub. We didnt get to enjoy much outdoors since it was raining during our overnight stay. We had something come up but the owner was quick to respond and work everything out. We would definitely stay again.

Unique & Cozy

I wanted to try something different. Booked this neat streamline for a friend & I to stay in while in SLC for a concert. The yard is HUGE. Plenty of room for outdoor activities. The hot tub is HUGE. The neighborhood is quiet. Property was clean and the host was responsive. Would recommended & wound stay here again!

Classic Airstream near the heart of SLC

Great location near restaurants…Pie Pizza, French Bistro we’re both near the property. I walked to Pie Pizza. It’s about a 8-10 min drive to downtown SLC, but I didn’t mind that. Comfy one person beds, it’s a camper. Other than that, if you RV, you know the drill. If you don’t RV, Chad has you covered. Great de-stresser for me from work. Thanks, I’ll stay again when I return to SLC. P. S. Hot tub was also large and super comfortable/enjoyable!

Nice Set-Up

Accurate listing so "glamping" expectations met, well set-up and private in back yard of home, easy check-in, temperature good (I was surprised). The stove looks brand new/original and is not for use, but you probably don't need it (burner and microwave). Hot water was limited and we did experience some septic gas fumes but we notified Chad and I don't think this will be a problem for subsequent renters.

A night in salt lake city area

Interesting concept. Trailer is upgraded but in dated condition. I wanted two nights, but somehow only booked one. When asked, 2nd nite was already booked; owner suggested another trailer s/he owned but further away. Turned out I had a change of plans and did not stay even the one night originally booked. When I asked about refunding the cleaning fee since I had not slept there and the trailer was untouched s/he refused saying the cleaner was on her way. Seemed k

It was a stay for sure

My only gripe is that the listing appears as though there is a functional kitchen, and there is not. The stove/oven is for looks only, as is stated on a sign pasted to the range. Maybe there is a statement somewhere in the listing that tells you that, but I certainly didn't see it so idk. I would argue that to list your place as having a kitchen, it needs a functional range.Otherwise, was good. Cute place, very aesthetic. Be careful with the table, it likes to come out of place and fall (despite making NO attempt to turn it into a bed !! Just had a suitcase on it)

Host profile image
I'm Chad, an Real Estate Specializing in Short Term Rentals, RE Investor & Entrepreneur. I Love to meet and interact with my guests, however, I am not going to invade your private space. I will follow your lead. If I see you I'll say hello and maybe show you some tips and tricks for your stay. If you prefer less interaction that's cool too, but I am up to have a drink or share a meal when time permits and when it feels cool. Looking forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We are in a great spot and we are set back way off the street. It is a lite commercial/residential mixed-use area. You can hear some street traffic and the car wash occasionally but it's really quite peaceful back in the Streamline!

What makes this property unique

Millcreek Lite Rail (trax) and several bus stops are near. You can also grab an electric scooter and zip around easily.
