My wife and I have lived in Anchorage for the past 37 years. She moved around as a child and I only remember one place growing up, Fairbanks. Together we've raised 5 children and are the proud grandparent of 9 grandkids. We enjoy taking drives and looking at the beauties of south central Alaska. We enjoy walks, looking at wildlife and viewing birds.

Well the real reason we chose this neighborhood was because of an answer to prayer. My wife and I had been looking for a larger home that meet our needs. Several years before we moved here, we were looking for places to buy and as we drove by this home, the thought came to my mind "someday I'm going to own that home". Several years passed and a friend of our who was a realtor said, I have a house you may be interested in. So before he said anything else, I knew what house it was and we immediately put an offer in on the house and, wallah, we now lived here for almost 30 years. We could ask for better neighbors and a quite neighborhood. We know just about everyone and really enjoy each of them. So we didn't really chose the location, it chose us and we've loved it!

Raising 5 kids, we needed more room to stretch out so we were walking on top of each other. Over the years we've had most all of our extended family live with us in our Mother-in-Law apartment. It's now our Bed & Breakfast and we enjoy hearing children's voices again, hosting families from all over, especially from Alaska.
