This quiet, rural setting feels isolated but is only a quick drive to all the vibrant goings-on of Salida: shops and galleries, restaurants and bars, river sports, hot springs, music festivals and a farmer's market every week throughout the summer... too much to list!
Monarch Ski Area is just 20 miles away. Hiking and mountain biking trails can be found amply in every direction from the house, and we'll have info on those trails in our guestbook for you, along with info about lots of other things to do in the area.
The entire house is yours throughout your stay! The "lawn" is a natural desert landscape, so it complements the views perfectly but isn't intended for walking barefoot on.
The garage will be locked off, as it contains the owners' stored items, but you'll find ample parking in front of the home.
