When my wife and I were planning our week long trip to the Pocanos we were not looking for a 800 a night beach house. We wanted something small, quaint and affordable with some Pocanos history. We had a whole itinerary to do while we were there so affordability was key. We narrowed it down to 3 properties and choose the Pile Inn because the host, Denise, was quick to respond and let us know what the property offered and didn't offer. Communication is key for me so that's why we decided the Pile Inn. Leading up to our trip was flawless. Everything we needed to know was communicated perfectly. We packed accordingly to the hosts recommendations and upon arrival, had no issues checking in. At first appearance it was what I was expecting, An older little nostalgic hunting cabin. Love it. That's what we wanted. When we started to unpack and get familiar with the cabin, we started to go through the history of log books and pictures dating back to the 1940's. That was super cool. The cabin needed a little light cleaning, but my wife and i are neat freaks and honestly take our own cleaning supplies no matter where we go. Not a big deal at all. The cabin was very stocked with pretty much everything you have at your own house. We packed a lot of things that we never used because they were already there. Very impressed by that. We ended up spending most of our time relaxing at the cabin. All in all, I would highly recommend. Thanks for the fun experience
