Unit Details This updated & modern one bedroom ground floor condo has everything you could need for a truly memorable (and comfortable) vacation! This ground level, one bedroom unit features an open plan kitchen-dining-living space that opens up to your own private balcony overlooking the lake (perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails). The kitchen is incredibly well-outfitted for any meal you’d like to concoct, with a dining table for four that also looks out at the lake. The bathroom is updated with a shower/tub combo. The bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed & the living room sofa pulls out into another full-size bed.
We love how well this unit flows - it’s somehow both airy and cozy. The owners just updated the unit to enhance its clean & modern design focus, with fresh paint, light fixtures & artwork. And nothing can beat enjoying the beautiful beach that is literally steps away!
The condo is located an easy walk to Bayfield's myriad charming shops & restaurants as well as the ferry to Madeline Island. It's also a perfect jumping off point to all of the incredible things to see & do throughout the greater Chequamegon Bay area.
One of our favorite features is the wonderful community garden that is adjacent to the condo building. There's few better places in the warmer months to enjoy a book or just take in the gorgeous flowers & plants in this "secret garden" setting.
The unit also features a rarity in the area: air conditioning, as well as high-speed wifi and cable tv. Non working fireplace-ornamental only.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything in Bayfield. Communication was great throughout the whole process. Would definitely come back to stay!
Great location, very clean. Kitchen well stocked for cooking/baking. Comfy living area. Only negative the creaking floors of unit directly above. Have booked again for a stay next summer.
The space was just what I expected. The perfect amount of space with a very nice bathroom and a good kitchen. The space was very clear and organized. It was a great stay!

Thank you for the feedback Natasha, we appreciate your taking the time, and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay
Overall a cute condo.Kitchen was clean and well appointed. Shopping nearby was adequate - had everything we needed. Bathroom was nice - cute and functional. Couch was not the most comfortable to snuggle in and watch a show.
We came to see this beautiful part of the state. Unfortunately the rain hindered us a little- but the location of the condo was perfect to walk around and find points of interest on foot. We enjoyed everything about the area and the condo was comfortable.
This condo is located very close to shops and restaurants in bayfield. It was very quiet during our stay. Beautiful view of lake. Comfortable accomodations and we enjoyed our stay.
We had 3 days in Bayfield and the property was within walking distance to every shop and restaurant. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The area was quiet and friendly. We enjoyed the stay. Thank you!
The property was nicely redone. Anything you would need for a stay was available. There were movies, books, games and a wonderful guide of things to do in the area. We did hear some noise from the upper unit later in the evenings.
This was the perfect spot for our family getaway. Everything was super walkable from the property and we loved being so close to the lake. The condo was the perfect size for a toddler and 2 adults. Erin was very responsive to messages during our stay!
condo was clean and convenient to area. walls are pretty thin hear all the neighbors. view was of construction equipment/business yard more so than of lake/beach from this unit. very responsive. fireplace in living room photos is not usable unfortunately.
This was our second trip to Reiten Boatyard. Enjoyed our pad and discovered the beautiful garden next door. We could not get the TV to work And someone came to fix it. i forgot my slippers there and they mailed them to me . Great customer service. Love the location. we are returning in October .

Robin, glad to hear those slippers finally showed up! We are grateful to have such gracious guests as yourself come to stay in our community. October will be a lovely time to visit again :)
Facilities was well maintained and great notes for use of appliances and instructions. Great peaceful area and the beach was beautiful. Only improvement notes on it is that windows didn’t open and you can hear every step the upstairs tenant made. Need better sound proofing between units.

Sorry you had difficulty with the windows. And yes, there is some noise that can travel between units here, but we did specifically warn of that in the listing description. glad you had a nice stay all the same.
The property, inside and out, was clean and new-looking. The unit was the perfect size for me and my spouse. We appreciated being in close walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops and restaurants. We also liked being an easy bike ride to the Madeline Island ferry. Our host very responsive when I reported a minor issue and she sent over a maintenance person who quickly resolved the problem. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the Boatyard condo.
Cute, well-stocked, but thin walls and creaky floors
Nice quiet lakeview location, but can hear others walking above due to sqeaky and creaky floors. Also the unit had creaky floors and extremely loud toilet flush.
Very nice condo close enough to walk to restaurants, shopping, marina. It should have stated that windows open but have to be pushed closed. Not easy to do in the bedroom. Also pictures of view misleading. Nowhere does it show the big old boat right in front of the condo, blocking most of the view of Lake Superior. They carefully took pictures from angles to cut it out. We did enjoy sitting on the private porch, just wish we had a better view.
