Great Space - Outdoors and Indoors

Our family of adults and children enjoyed the spacious outdoor areas and amenities. Loved the covered porches and green spaces. The home was comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of parking.

Amazing property!

Great house for a family vacation. Creek is close to house and parts are deep enough to swim - this house was the best stocked vacation home I have ever rented. Great outdoor areas - even though it was too hot to enjoy too much. Would definitely recommend this one!

Nice Cabin - great creek - fun weekend

Couches need to be slip proof - slid around every time we sat on them- wasp infestation on top front balcony - holes in wood need filled probably need professional exterminator at least 200 plus wasp - we stayed clear of porch - cuzzi was great - would recommend this cabin great lil getaway

Guys Trip

We had a group of 10 men, friends and family, for a long weekend get together. This place is perfect. The description and pictures are very accurate, the creek is close and we did a lot of fishing. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back.

AMAZING!

We stayed here to see the eclipse and the property was perfect. We had 12 people total including 4 kids and everyone was comfortable. The access to the creek and property was unmatched. We will definitely be back!

Great property. Updated and very well done. Our family of 9 loved the house. Plenty of room and activities. We hiked the property and enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen was great to prepare meals and the beds were comfortable.

All the family from 4 states met for a few days of just spending Quality time together and catching up on life! This location was close the the boat launch(rented a pontoon for a day on the lake) close enough to groceries but secluded and private - lots of space for kids to run!

Bachelor Trip

It was an amazing place to have a more nature oriented Bachelor Trip. House has everything you could want and plenty of games to play as well. Plenty of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. The only downside is the pillows, which are a bit too hard to sleep comfortably on. Otherwise, it was a perfect trip.

Beautiful Property

The home and property were absolutely beautiful. Our family enjoyed the creek and kayaking. And when the kids weren’t outside they enjoyed hanging out in the kids room. Only thing that we weren’t thrilled with was the downstairs only has an outside entrance. It was basically separate living quarters but even then we lived the property.

Nice place!!

It was an awesome family reunion trip. We loved our stay in this beautiful place. Clean house with all the necessities. The house has so much patio and outdoor space which was so easy for a group of 10+ to stay out of each other’s way. The creek was clean and beautiful. We cannot found the kayaks but kids still got fun in the creek. The communication was prompt. We had a great time there.

Beautiful, wooded area near river. Private. Kids spent hours at the river. Kayaks and hot tub were fun. Four Bathrooms!! High quality appliances, furnishings, bedding and towels. Great internet. Host very prompt with any questions or concerns.

Great cabin

Overall great cabin. Very clean. Only issue was the hot tub wasn’t working and was very dirty when we arrived. Property manager was very responsive and had someone out to resolve the issue with an hour. There is one house right next to the property but otherwise very remote. Tons of land for kids to run around and explore! Separate mother in law suite in the basement was nice. Creek was too strong to kayak in due to lots of rain while we were there.

Family getaway

Had a great time. There was no “welcome book” to explain area or directions on how to use tv or dishwasher as example. Would be helpful and maybe a map of property so you know where you can venture to if you would like to. Advertisement was house on 12 acres but when we drive up there was another house just across from us. Once we entered house it was block by trees but perception of listing made you think it was more secluded. Lots of great extras with house, nice towels and bath soaps. Kitchen had everything you needed. Lots of space for extra bedrooms and each couple got own bathroom. Enjoyed our time together.

Our home does sit on 12 acres and we have since added a physical welcome book at the house with maps of the property, things to do, directions on how to operate TV's and appliances. The neighbors are over a football field away and brush grows between them and our home so it is private and secluded. We do hope you visit us again as this property is hard to beat for quality time spent with family and friends!

Loved it and will return!

The Black Bear cabin on Mazarin Lake was lovely! The property is surrounded by nature. The home has a wrap around covered porch which makes it lovely rain or shine. It’s close enough to the water to walk down and enjoy fishing, kayaking, and swimming BUT set off from the water enough that it’s not visible which was perfect for our family with small children so we didn’t have to worry about little ones running to the water without supervision. The home is clean and well stocked. We loved that there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large family. We had 7 adults/6 kids and everyone had a bed! There are 3 bathrooms on the main upper level; this made it perfect for the families to have their own designated bathroom. There is another bathroom on the ground level also. Each bathroom has a nice walk in shower. It is a peaceful, relaxing setting and the host was SUPER quick to respond if we needed anything or had a question. We will be returning! Thank you for a great week with family!

Plenty of room for our group of 14

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Plenty of room for our large family, very nice cabin, comfy beds. Pillows were a little too thick but not a big deal. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook several big meals (except for a can opener). The creek is gorgeous, very popular with the kids and teenagers. It’s nice that kayaks are provided. Hot tub was huge and clean! Very nice! The house does have some neighbors right across the driveway so I wouldn’t say it’s secluded. Lots of details were very thought out like lots of games provided and plenty of toiletries like paper towels toilet paper and trash bags even plenty of k cups. Check in being at 4 is too late and check out being at 10 is too early. We felt the price was a little steep for this cabin based on location and a few other aspects. Overall we had a good time and would probably recommend this cabin to others.

I get mixed reviews on the pillows so we have kept the ones that are there but have added some softer ones! The neighbors are over a football field away and their brush that grows there makes it private. Also, when you book you are aware that check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am and you also know how much you are paying at the time of booking. I don't feel that is relevant to put in a review when you are aware of the terms before you book. We are glad that you enjoyed all the amenities that the property has to offer.
