Easily accessible when you arrive from the front drive, DRIFT Bungalow offers stunning views of the Salish Sea, Denman Island, and the historic Chrome Island Lighthouse—all from the comfort of any chair in the house.

Step outside to direct shoreline access through a magical rainforest and marvel at an Ancient Fishing Weir, where nature comes alive. Watch for elephant and harbor seals, bald eagles, blue herons, hummingbirds, loons, and more. Birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts will be captivated by the endless sightings, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot orcas passing through the channel. The backdrop of fishing boats gliding through the water completes the coastal charm.

Located just 40 minutes from Comox Airport and 20 minutes from the resort community of Qualicum Beach, DRIFT Bungalow offers the perfect balance of peace and proximity. For adventure seekers, rent a kayak or use the two provided paddleboards to explore the shoreline. Fishing enthusiasts can book an expedition at nearby Deep Bay Marina, while hikers and nature lovers will find endless trails to explore near the home.

Important Note
Please be aware that accessing the shoreline requires navigating approximately 80 concrete steps, most of which do not have a handrail.

Caretakers live on site in a cabin on the Sea and DRIFT Studio cabin is located adjacent to it. Please use care and discretion when passing through on the way to the waterfront.
