Comfortable mountain Get away
We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Fox Den. The cabin had everything we needed for a leisurely retreat. Comfortable beds, spacious living area, deck with cooker, table chairs and umbrella so we could enjoy the outdoor space. Loved all the wildlife and walks in nearby neighborhoods just off the highway. Perfect location for visiting Breckenridge and yet outside of the busyness of town.
Perfect location for enjoying the range of activities in and around Breckenridge. Conveniently located, yet felt far away from the busyness of town. All the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay: fully equpped kitchen, deck with tabke, chairs, umbrella and outdoor grill; t.v and stable wifi; cozy bedrooms with confortable beds. Side streets to walk our dog and see rhe Blue River and wildlife all around.
The home was as beautiful as it looked in the listing. Extremely cozy and in the absolute perfect location. Hosts were extremely responsive and proactive. Made our stay even better.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The area was beautiful with so many things to do. Only downside is at first glance the house appeared clean but as the days progressed we found dog poop behind a lamp, (not our dog) articles of clothing in between the coach cushions & the kuerig wasn't working. Whoever the cleaner is, they're not cleaning the bathrooms adequately or under beds or furniture. I was a little disappointed at the quality of beds and the furniture is not ideal for long term stay. Overall great location ok house. Not sure if the host is aware but they had a huge tree down right next to the cabin that landed on the garage.

Rustic affordable “glamping” getaway
In the woods and close to hiking, while conveniently located to downtown Breckenridge. For summer guests, be prepared the deck is not great for large families, there is no railing and decking is uneven. The grill and patio furniture need to be upgraded. Kitchen was great and owner clearly made good renovation.

Well-appointed bungalo in the woods
We had a great stay! The great room was super cozy. We loved the wood-burning fireplace. Awesome location-- remote enough to feel like we were alone in the woods, but a quick and easy drive into town and to the slopes! We will definitely come stay again!
We came to Breckenridge right after the big snowfall therefore the area was feet deep in snow. It was a truly beautiful experience. The house looked amazing

Breck home with a fox!
It’s really cute, Insta worthy. Just needs a little upkeep. The morning and evening fox patrol was fun. Conveniently located to town.
I loved the wood vaulted ceilings- it gave the space a much larger feel. And thank goodness for tons of hooks! Plenty of space for coats and ski pants and such. We have a great weekend and loved that the kids had area to play in the snow outside, something you can’t get with condos in silverthorn, breck or frisco. Perfect for our family!
This home is much bigger on than expected. Very clean and designed with family comfort in mind. Non-winter visitors will find the yard to be in a natural state. Had communication issues with the Vacasa of Colorado who manages this property. At the time of our stay, the Fox Den TV instructions specifically state to keep the current accounts logged into YouTube TV, HBO Max and Disney Plus - Use the Fox Den Profiles. We were unable to access any of these as someone had logged off these streaming services, and no login information was available.Called Vacasa and was told that we should be using our own IDs. Attempts to clarify that the Property Owners left different instructions, but the conversation ended with Vacasa telling us that management would contact us the next day (which did not happen). Then we decided to use Netflix instead by using the user accounts that were present when opening up the Streaming service. Able to log in but when trying to view a movie we received an error code. Same thing happened when we used our own acct. Then tried signing on to Disney with our own acct. Again received error code when trying to access a movie. Would also suggest marking the driveway entrance with something bold that can easily be seen from both directions of the highway and include that information on the Checking-in instructions.
