About the host
Hosted by Linnea Utecht

Hello! My name is Linnea! I was born and raised in Oshkosh, WI, but have lived in several different states, and even Canada!
Together, my wife (Burgundy) and I are happy to share our home with you. We are both life-long athletes (field hockey, softball, and triathlon), and take full advantage of living so close to Wisconsin's largest lake! The love pathways of Miller's Bay and Menominee Park, which are only minutes from our front door! We love the gorgeous sunrises over the lake each morning.
We moved into this house in August of 2022, after spending all summer updating the house. This house has mid-century modern touches, with updated paint colors and flooring. We tried to keep the character of the house, which you will especially see in the den and both bathrooms. We love the large (new) windows, allowing tons of natural light to keep the house bright and airy. The screened in porch/breezeway is an awesome space to enjoy our breakfast or to relax on the patio furniture after a long day.
We'd love to share this beautiful home and all its amenities with you. Come, be our guests!
Why they chose this property
This is an older neighborhood. The people take pride in living here and respect one another. The streets are generally very quiet, with nice wide roads that can accommodate parking on both sides. Huge silver oaks line the road by our house, giving lots of shade in the summer, and produce beautiful yellow leaves in the fall. Lake Winnebago is only two blocks away, you can launch your boat, take a walk, or go for a bike ride on the pathways. This area offers an abundance of birds as well, especially during the migratory season!
What makes this property unique
Oshkosh is a great city to attend festivals, enjoy the world's largest aeronautics display--EAA, and fish the endless waterways surrounding Oshkosh!
We put so much attention to detail into updating this house and take pride in ownership. We hope that will shine through during your stay!
