Hingham estate

The location was perfect for all our planned and unplanned activities. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the rabbits and turkeys. Uber and ferry service was wonderful.

A beautiful house and property

We found this house perfect for our large group. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining area, game room and beautiful yard with a pool. My family members came into the area from all over the country for a memorial service, after which we stayed for serval days to enjoy being together. This house was a perfect place to gather and also entertain others who live locally. The only thing that wasn’t mentioned in the description is that the owners do live here when the house is not being rented out, so if you can get past some of the personal items it feels as if you are the family‘a house guest. There is also a downstairs apartment that is occupied.

Perfect.

This was the perfect place to relax for the weekend. Not only was John very welcoming but the house and grounds were stunning. Although we spent most of our time on the deck and in and around the pool, the kitchen made for a great gathering spot for breakfast. Even if we did not have good pool weather, there was plenty of space in the house and the game room would have gotten lots of use. Everything was well... just perfect. 5 stars all the way.

Beautiful home with great amenities!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past week! The house was gorgeous and my family especially enjoyed the pool and pool table. It's an ideal location on the South Shore with good access to Boston and a reasonable drive to Cape Cod. We all had a fabulous time!

Excellent Home, we really ENJOYED our visit

This home is very spacious! It had every single thing we needed to make our family and guests comfortable. The pool area had much more seating than we expected and made us feel like it was our own home! In addition, the Kitchen was well stocked with appropriate plastic glassware, platters and cookware. Nothing was missing from this home to complete our visit !

Amazing, secluded setting. Great for large groups.

We recently hosted a week long family reunion here during the 4th of July week. The house easily accommodated our three families, including 6 adults, 4 teenagers, 2 pre-teens and a newborn. We also hosted a 4th of July pool party with over 60 guests, and it never felt crowded. The owners were very generous in allowing us to utilize all of their stored tables and equipment, including a volleyball net, pop-up tent and fire pits, etc. we felt like it was our own home. The house is walking distance to a city park as well as the Hingham Shipyard, with commuter boat service to Boston and the local islands. I would highly recommend a stay here.

My son's wedding

we rented the house so my son and friends, who flew from Canada, Puerto Rico, and Georgia could enjoy some quality time together. The house was GREAT!!!! After the wedding we all returned to the house, some went into the pool, others played ping-pong or pool table, others just enjoyed listening to music and cooking some BBQ. The place is great, enough place for 12 people. Just minutes drive from everything.

Great Stay

Our family of four had a lovely stay for a week during the summer. The house is big with a lovely pool that was used every single day. Although secluded, it is only a short distance to the centre of Hingham and the Shipyard with its entertainment and easy ferry access to the centre of Boston. A great holiday and definitely a house to return to.

Family Getaway

Our family of eight enjoyed a relaxing week in this beautiful home. We had a variety of interests and plans as our group ranged from age 4 to age 60, but both the rental and Hingham nicely met our expectations. Driving and taking the train into Boston were both very easy as were day trips to Plymouth and Springfield (Six Flags Amusement Park). We made great use out of the pool, game room, and exercise equipment. The kitchen and deck were wonderful for spending family time together. We really appreciated how nice everything was in the house and how helpful the owners were. We would recommend this rental to others and hope to stay there again ourselves.

Wonderful family reunion!

This is an exceptional home with all the comforts and luxuries expected. We had our entire family for a reunion and celebration here and everything was beyond our expectations. The kitchen is fantastic, the family room is large and inviting, and the piano is a welcoming and fun addition.Hingham is a lovely town with lots to see and some wonderful restaurants. We will definately return to Hingham and this home!
