My husbands John and I are lifelong Mainer's raising 2 young kiddos. We love being adventurous and spending time outdoors. We love enjoying great food and drink with friends and family. We are excited to share Rocky Lane Lodge as place for groups to gather and enjoy the the beauty of the Western Maine mountains and all that the area has to offer. The house is comfortable enough for 2-3 families to share. The back yard and game room offer ample room for kids to play.
Why they chose this property
We love this location in the Mt. Abram Village for it's proximity to he Westside lodge for convenient skiing, biking, and hiking along with the summer beer garden or loose boots lounge in the winter for food, drinks, and live music. It is also so convenient to the public boat access and beaches on the surrounding ponds. You can take a stroll through the village and catch glimpses of the nearby mountain ranges. Stop by Greenwood bean for delicious organic coffee beans (ground available too!). The Hub is an amazing amenity just down the road for sandwiches on fresh baked bread to to pick up a few groceries plus they have an excellent beer selection. The community access trail from the neighborhood connects you to Bethel by bike, x-country ski, ATV, etc.. Bethel is 10 minutes away for shopping and restaurants. Sunday River is 20 minutes away. And Frenchman's hole and Grafton Notch State Park are 30 minutes away.
