Anglers Inn Floating Suite Luxury houseboat— Manatee Kayak Three Sisters Springs
The Anglers Inn Floating Suites, offering “on the water” luxury, are permanently docked in the heart of Kings Bay at Pete’s Pier, 1 SW 1st Place, Crystal River, FL. With the ability to comfortably sleep 5 people onboard, it is the perfect size for a family getaway, multi-family vacation or secluded couple’s retreat. With lots of room on its three decks, it's a great place to view manatees while grilling out.
Local attractions available are fishing charter boats, manatee tours including swimming with the manatees, scallop trips, dolphin tours, sunset cruises, airboat rides, bow fishing, shark fishing, kayak and paddle board rental, tarpon feeding and island excursions. Also the home of the Anglers Inn University, teaching anglers of all ages how to catch more fish.
The surrounding Kings Bay area is home to resident snook, redfish and tarpon that are refreshed with migrating fish. Just seven miles from Crystal River is the Gulf of Mexico and its uncountable islands and channels with miles of shoreline and mangroves for the best snook, redfish and sea trout inshore fishing imaginable. Other saltwater species popular in the area are gag grouper, in season, grouper, cobia, barracuda, jack crevalle and amberjack.
The beautifully crystal-clear waters of Kings Bay are fed from more than 70 springs, supplying more than 580 million gallons per day into the Bay, warming them to a constant 72 degrees. This premier ecological location brings in huge manatees that love the warm water. A thousand of these mammals, the heaviest concentration in the world, call this small area along the west coast of Florida home as their primary breeding area. Don’t expect them to quickly scurry away, they do everything in super-slow motion. Visitors are treated to close encounters of the friendly type by viewing manatee parents and their calves from a tour boat, a paddle board or really up close and personal with snorkel gear. The water is so clear you can see your feet and even the floor of the Bay from a kayak.
July 1 is a huge day in Crystal River and Kings Bay. It’s the beginning of scallop season and collectors from far and wide venture to this area to watch and grab scallops as they flitter, flop and clumsily swim through the grass-bottom shallows. Scallops are an excellent table fare and local restaurants will take your gathered shells and prepare a delectable feast.

Owner was fantastic and shared a lot of good information about the boat and the area, and was very responsive. Easy access to manatee tours right at the marina. Fun to fish right off the front of the boat. Plenty of space and the boat is well stocked. Great sunset views and people watching.
Amazing! Billy, George, and Tonya were amazing! They were communicative, informative, and very helpful! We loved our stay and highly recommend Anglers to anyone who wants to step away from traditional accommodations.
Birthday trip First time to Crystal River . From Tonya who took care of our booking suggested activities and restaurants, not just in Crystal River but along our way there. Not only did Tonia do all that she surprised me with a birthday carrot cake and balloons. . All suggestions exceeded our expectations!!! To Billy our host and owner who was the dearest man we have meet in some time. He has to a heart that’s a big as the river flowing under his houseboat and his passion is as deep as his knowledge of fishing and all the areas he hosts guest around the world. We will be booking our Amazon trip with Billy at Anglers Inn as well as coming back to crystal River. Saying Thank you are meager words for the experience we had.
Everything was awesome. Billy went out of his way to ensure everything was good! He even took us for a tour of the area to show us where everything was, he gave us hats to wear! The boat is awesome! Everything we needed and more! Our last full day it rained all day and it was actually very relaxing just hanging out on the boat on the water in the rain! We had a very nice Time. Thank you so much highly recommend!!!
Loved the houseboat.. located on Kings Bay and very close to Three Sisters via the supplied Kayaks. Billy is the host and he is great. Accommodating and a phone call away. He was there to bring all our luggage and food onto the boat at checkin and again at checkout.
The boat is clean and comfortable with comfy beds! There are extra Murphy beds as well if needed. The boat has four balconies and all are nicely furnished. The entire experience was Five stars! Friendly pelicans fly around and dove down for fish, many kayaks heading to see the manatees. We say many manatees on our kayak trip right off the back of the boat. Many great seafood restaurants in the area. Amy’s on the Avenue is great for lunch and breakfast. The Crab Plant has excellent fried shrimp. All the comforts of home are available on this fantastic houseboat. We stayed 4 wonderful nights and had a fun, comfortable stay.
Staying on this boat was a really fun experience. The location is wonderful. The owners were extremely prompt when problem occurred. We would stay here again!
