YOUR HOST
Hi, I'm Brandon — a 25-year fire service Captain, Michigan's Thumb regular, and full-time host. I operate Lakeshore Pines Properties with one goal: give guests the Port Austin stay I'd want. That means quick communication, honest local recommendations, thoughtful details, and a property that's genuinely as clean and well-kept as the photos show. If you need anything during your stay, I'm a text away.
WHY BOOK THE VINTAGE MOTEL IN PORT AUSTIN
Port Austin has limited quality lodging — most options are basic motels, dated cottages, or full-home rentals priced for large groups. The Vintage fills the sweet spot: boutique motel character, vacation-rental comfort, walkable location, Lake Huron beach access, and honest pricing. Whether it's your first trip to the Thumb or your twentieth, we're built to be your favorite place to come back to.

This place was cozy and fun to stay at with the beach real close and good access to it. Everything worked properly the AC was perfect and more than what we needed to have a little fun fishing and going to the beach.

I'm Brandon. I live in Utah but have converted this old Motel back into its true usage for visitors to come see the beautiful beaches of Lake Huron.

Why they chose this property

I love to find obscure places with great vibes and I feel this little motel next to Lake Huron has all of the charm!

What makes this property unique

The old time feel and sturdy construction make this old motel by the road feel like a step back in time. Easy access, practically beach front parking with deeded access, and a great little meat shop next to the unit makes staying in and eating a breeze!
