We can't say enough about how nice this lake house is for a stay near Raystown Lake. It is so comfortable and clean, and has all the accessories to make a stay fun and memorable. We highly recommend this property, and will certainly consider returning in the future
Our stay was GREAT! This property is super clean, fully equipped with everything you could need and the property owners are AMAZING to work with. This was our second stay and we will definitely stay again!!
Rhonda and Ryan have truly thought of everything from the coffee bar and cozy blankets to the fire pit supplies and air hockey puck dislodgers! The house was extremely clean and so welcoming. The game room and fire pit area were highlights for both the kids and adults. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book this property again!
Very nice place to stay. Recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying at Raystown. Very nice for family get togethers. Host were very easy to work with. Will rent again if going to Raystown.
This rental was great for our family of 4. We wanted a weekend away in the quiet, with some safe woods for exploring - and this was perfect! Will definitely return. Rhonda is a very responsive and thoughtful host!
I almost didn't want to leave this review because I didn't want to share this absolutely PERFECT place with anyone else! This was our first time booking a different place for our annual fall family trip, but our regular cabin being booked was a blessing in disguise. Thus place was not only beautiful, but super clean, warm/welcoming, and already felt like a "home away from home" for us. Communication was phenomenal and I just absolutely loved everything about it. It was super close to the lake, to great food, and close enough to a Walmart in case we were in need of anything. Honestly though, we will not book our fall trip anywhere else!!
Hosts, Rhonda and Ryan are terrific. Very responsive to our needs and excellent responsiveness. The property is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Private, yet easily accessible. Very near Raystown Lake and Seven Points Marina. Home was beautifully decorated with "Lake Theme" throughout. Very clean with quality furnishings. This was RELAXATION that is rarely experienced. We would highly recommend this property to anyone desiring a relaxing, recharge, refreshing get away. Again, the Hosts are AWESOME!!! We plan to return.

About the host
Hosted by Rhonda and Ryan
Ryan and I live in a small town 31 miles from our vacation home. We both work full time in State College as a DOC Principal and Mohs Surgery Nurse. We enjoy boating, camping, renovating the vacation home and spending time with family and friends. And of coarse, spending time at the Lake House! I have always had a passion to become a host for many years in the area that I grew up visiting with my Dad. After many years of daily Zillow and Realtor.com searching, we finally found a property that worked for us. Our plan is to live in this area in the future.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area due to how close it was to the lake and Marina. What we loved initially when we viewed the property was the privacy, serenity, and outdoor amenities that were already established. We loved the space of the property, the abundance and ease of camper and boat parking as well as seeing wildlife right out the window! Pavilion, fire pit, and 2 spacious decks was also a plus! Summertime is our favorite and we enjoy being outdoors. There are only a few neighbors afar and both are fantastic.
What makes this property unique
We think this property stands out not only because of the location and outdoor amenities, but also because of the cleanliness. My sister Kim (whom is our co host), myself and Ryan provide the cleaning and maintenance between guests. We have been in many AIRBNBS and VRBOS that were definitely not very well maintained and we want to welcome our guests with a home how we would expect. We also have a super stocked kitchen and pretty much everything you would need for a short term stay which provides our guests less packing or grocery shopping.
