Kentucky Lake 3 BR 2 Bath Private Home W/Private Dock and pontoon rental

In the summer, we only do weekly rentals, Saturday to Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Our waterfront private home and double slip covered dock (not a part of Shawnee Bay Resort) is located on Kentucky Lake It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with floor to ceiling windows. There is over 1,000+ ft of deck space for entertaining and just a short (approximately 125 ft) gentle slope to the water. All bedrooms have televisions. The master bedroom is equipped with it's own bathroom with tub, king size bed and has large screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a 42 inch TV. The third bedroom has a queen bed with a 32 inch TV.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open to one another and is a great place for the whole family. The dining room table is large enough to accommodate everyone staying at the house and a couple more that may be stopping by for dinner (at least ten).

The living room is equipped with a couch, love seat, chair w ottoman, and rocking chair for plenting of seating. Features include a custom stone fireplace with a 50 inch smart TV. Wireless internet is also included.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking including crock pot. pots, pans, griddle, plates, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, etc...

The deck has two patio sets and seating that runs the entire length of the deck railing. A charcoal grill is supplied.

We have a 20ft Bentley tritoon boat on our private dock that is available to rent for your weekly stay Memorial Day through Labor Day. We can only rent the boat for your full stay since we are not at the property to check it in and out. The rate is $1500 and due on arrival by cash or check.

Kentucky Lake is about being outdoors. Our home is treated throughout the year by MOSQUITO AUTHORITY and they guarantee a mosquito free environment. If you see a mosquito while you are on our property call us and Mosquito Authority will come and treat the area again.

Cleanliness is our number one priority. This house is professionally cleaned after every stay, no matter how short.

We only do weekly rentals in the summer and holiday weeks (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day)

We all enjoyed our stay on Ky Lake. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed being able to prepare our meals together as a family. Having access to the lake via the private dock was definitely a bonus!

We had a wonderful time with our 3 boys who enjoyed the house and property almost as much as boating on the lake. The house was very clean and perfect for our family to relax. We even had smores around the fire pit one night despite it being 90 degrees out. Having the option of renting the boat on site was really convenient allowing to skip the hastle of renting one at the marina allowing for more time on the lake.

Great getaway!

We loved our stay! Cozy and had an amazing porch for coffee & late night relaxation. We also rented the boat, which is a must if available. The dock was perfect and covered we went fishing and kids swam off the dock!

Pontoon adds greatly to the experience

Beautiful location! Enjoyed the fire pit. The rental comes with option to rent their pontoon and that was a wonderful to be out on lake and explore everyday. Beds were comfortable and beach towels provided as well. Bring your own laundry detergent if need to use the washer. We definitely enjoyed our time together.

Beautiful home

The Bayside house was all we hoped it would be. The reservation process was simple, communication with owner/manager was quick, easy and efficient. The kitchen was so well stocked for our family who loves to cook...we really didnt need a thing! To top it off the deck and view were wonderful...so relaxing. We will go again!!!

Great house

We have stayed in this general area many times but always at a resort in a small cabin. It was nice being in a quiet private home with great views of the lake to just kick back and relax. Loved the many windows and skylights. Especially in the master bedroom. Also nice having a private dock for my boat. Owner was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely rent this again.

My husband and I purchased the home along with our daughter and son-in-law. Our love of Kentucky Lake is why we are drawn to this waterfront home. All of us live and work only minutes away.

Why they chose this property

All of us grew up in the area and have always dreamed of owning a home on the water. While my husband enjoys fishing and our son-in-law, wakeboarding, my daughter and I simply enjoy the atmosphere here. The view is beautiful and there are always fun activities in the area. Although it is somewhat remote, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants only minutes away. My personal favorite is a pontoon ride just before dark. All of us enjoy traveling, but haven't seen anything prettier than the view from our lake home.

What makes this property unique

The main thing I enjoy about the house is the one-level open floor plan and the large deck which gives access to the lakefront view from every angle. When we have guests, everyone is able to be in the same room or on the deck comfortably. However, there is privacy in the bedrooms where everyone can watch their own TV or even turn in early because it is extremely quiet here. Not only outside, but inside noises such as heat/air, appliances, and plumbing are quiet as well.
