Pool Details: Indoor Pool: Daily 8 am-10 pm Outdoor Pools: Open for swimming and sunning from mid April through late October 8 am -10 pm, weather permitting. In the case of thunder, both indoor and outdoor pools close for a half hour after the thunder passes. Guests over the age of 18 may enjoy the fitness center.

Short stay for Christmas Town

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, well appointed, and in a great central location. We will return for future trips to the area. The host was very responsive and accommodating!!

Large family trip

We travel with my grown ( early 20’s) children and my parents ( in their 80’s and 90’s). This is my 8th time staying at this location. We always stay here at Powhatan because we can get the 2 condo lock off unit. We always have more than enough room, the rooms and grounds are clean. The location is great.

Convenient place to stay for a trip back in history

We had a 'walk off' condo. I didn't know what that was at the time of booking but I found out when checking in. The main door opens into a foyer where there are 2 other doors with keyed locks. One goes to the upstairs condo and the other goes to the downstairs unit. Both units are essentially identical with living rooms, kitchens and bathroom in both. It was super convenient and nice. We just kept the doors open with the main door locked. The kids got to stay in the upstairs unit and the adults in the downstairs so we didn't feel cooped in at all. I didn't realize upon booking that this is a Hilton property. I'm a HH member but because I didn't book through Hilton.com I didn't get the points. I think the VRBO listing should have mentioned that it was a Hilton property. Also I wish upon check-in that they would have told us about the manor house that's on property along with the cute coffee house. The manor house is open during the day and it's a really nice place offering ghost tours during the evening. The coffee house is really cute and has lots of coffee and tea options. Overall the place is fantastic. I was just a bit disappointed in the check in process in that it took a long time and little to no information was given about the property or the amenities.
