Your Perfect 180º Beach View: The View from this 4th floor unit is breathtaking. Having the advantage of a corner unit, you can see all the way down to the inter-coastal waterway without any buildings blocking your view. This vacation rental is perfect for everyone in your group. If you love the beach, you are just steps away to sun, surf, swim, or walk on the beautiful beaches of Okaloosa Island. If you prefer to relax without all the sand, you can enjoy the beach atmosphere without leaving the balcony. This 4th floor unit is the perfect height for a gorgeous view and is low enough to hear the crashing waves that lull you into total relaxation! My favorite thing to do is to bring a good book and read, nap, sun, & relax on the balcony. I feel like I am on the beach, with all the conveniences of home just a step away. With Wi-Fi, I can even bring my laptop out with me. A convenience store & post office is less than a half a mile away and a sidewalk is provided on one side of the street for walkers and runners.

Okaloosa Island is the Gulf front beach community of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. Okaloosa Island is famous for long sugar white sand beaches and emerald green water and is considered the best overall beach experience in the Destin area. Okaloosa Island is only six miles from Destin, without the crowds and traffic, due to its height limit of 7 floors (NO HIGHRISES). Come take a stroll on the Okaloosa Island beaches, play in the surf, fish from the Okaloosa Island Pier or stroll on the boardwalk. Bring your snorkeling gear, boogie boards, surfboards and windsurfing gear. Water recreation equipment and beach service chairs and umbrella rentals are available on the island. The island has lots of activity, including: The Gulfarium, water sports, fishing, shopping & plenty of nightlife & delicious restaurants. Wonderful Experience!

Connie’s condo was a wonderful surprise, complete with everything we could ask for. Quiet, clean, perfect location and roomy. This is the best condo we’ve ever stayed in by far! Connie was very accommodating and welcoming. We felt like we were family, not just guest. I can’t express how fantastic this experience was for us, but we plan to be back next year!

Nice unit, right on the beach. Quiet area. Having beach chairs & umbrella included with our reservation was a real plus. We also appreciated the owner’s communication and inquiry about our stay. We were disappointed that the pool was not beachside, but rather, across the parking lot.

This is an outstanding place to stay on the island. Just steps to pristine beach or enjoy expansive views from the deck or living area. Also, the unit is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen.

Nice Family Vacation

Enjoyed the sunny days at the beach, the view was amazing. The beach was easily accessible and the condo was close to resturants. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from the pier on beach at the condo.

Great view and a great location. This was the perfect beach for our family. Not too crowded and we were a short drive to everything we needed in town. The condo had everything we needed, and we especially loved sitting on the patio in the mornings and evening to enjoy the view.

Fantastic April Stay at Connie's Condo

This was a fantastic and comfortable property, close to many restaurants and shops. It had an amazing view of the beautiful beach from the balcony. The surf seemed to be only 125 - 150 feet away. This April trip was one of our top vacations and the best beach experience ever.

Perfect for our family

Connie was so gracious our day of arrival. Getting out of the Fort Walton airport didn’t take any time at all so I messaged her and we were able to check in early, last minute. She was also very responsive when we had a few questions the following day. We love the location as it was away from busy Destin but still close and everything was easy to get around. Still lots of restaurants nearby, maybe not walking distance though.the condo setup was just what we needed for our small kids, the place was clean but nothing fancy, which we’re fine with as we don’t spend a lot of time inside. The beaches were great and there is a private boardwalk/showers for the condo residents. The pool is behind the condo on the street side, which was kind of a bummer you can’t see the ocean from there, and the pool bathrooms were horrible,had not been cleaned in awhile. Place was quiet and family friendly. We would definitely come back.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed beach home. The views can’t be beat and we really liked to quieter location at the West end of the island. Connie was very organized and made sure we had all the information well ahead of our arrival date. The unit was spotless and we had everything we needed.

Amazing views!!!

This condo was perfect for our long weekend getaway! The end unit views of the sunset are amazing, and the condo is very clean and well kept. The chair service and beautiful beaches were icing on the cake. Thank you Connie!

Fun Fall Beach Vacation

Connie's condo provided wonderful views from the wrap balcony and the windows offered great views from inside. Condo had a well equipped kitchen, master suite was very inviting and walk in shower was a bonus as my husband was still in recovery from hip surgery. Met and exceeded our needs for a successful vacation.

Family Vacation & Dance Comp

Connie’s condo was exactly what we needed for our family vacation, which was also combined with a dance competition at the convention center. It was helpful to be near the convention center, while still being able to enjoy a private, family space with direct access to the beach. The chair service was a fantastic help, too. Connie is an amazing communicator and always willing to help! We appreciated this as our home away from home for the week.

The view is undeniable!

My family and I had a great time at this property. The condo was clean and the view is simply awesome! The owner was nice to work with as well. The only downside for us was the mattresses. They seemed pretty old and worn, so we didn't sleep well at all.

Awesome Place

This property is beautiful. The owner is easy to work with and has great communication. The view is top notch. There is not a window in the place you don’t have a view of the ocean. The condo was spotless when we arrived and has everything you could ever need. The beds are comfortable. The beach access is easy and the pool is very nice. I can’t think of anything that was wrong or needs improvement. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Stay

7th year for our ladies trip to Fort Walton Beach. First time to stay at Emerald Towers West and in Connie’s Condo which was nicely done and furnished; well kept and clean. Ocean front balcony (corner condo) with table & chairs. Just steps to the beach and to the umbrella/chair set-up. Connie had communicated prior to the trip with welcome and with information which made check-in & out seamless. She quickly and kindly responded to questions while we were there too. We appreciated staying in her condo this year as there were only 4 in our group this year and this condo suited us well.

Peace in the time of Covid

I booked this property months ago while the first wave of Covid was winding down... it gave this old ER nurse a glimmer to look forward to. I was happily pleased and spent 9 days gearing up to go home and fight the second wave! Thank you Connie! Your place is beautiful, peaceful, and cozy!

Very nice property

The property was just as described on the VRBO site. Very clean and comfortable. Communication with property manager was good. Location was perfect as a corner condo with outside deck wrapping around two sides so sunlight in space is a plus. Easy access to beach. We would give 5 stars except for an issue with the front door. Heavy winds and rain one day hitting front door flooded the front entryway. The door seal was worn out allowing water to pour in. If we weren’t there mopping up water and blocking with towel the front space and adjacent rooms would have had water damage. If this gets resolved we would definitely stay there again.

An excellent condo that’s not so crowded!

This was a great condo in our absolute favorite beach location, Fort Walton! The condo was perfectly clean with a gorgeous view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Connie was a great communicator and hostess. In fact, VRBO had some glitches during the booking process, but Connie worked with me to make sure I got booked. What we loved most was the fact that it wasn’t as big as many of the larger properties, which meant the beach wasn’t as crowded! Beach service with umbrella and 2 chairs was included. Then the condo itself had 2 extra beach chairs which came in super handy for our 2 kids. The condo is in a great location within quick driving distance to the Oakaloosa Pier which we love as well as our favorite restaurants like Stewby’s and The Shack. If you love the Emerald Coast waters but don’t want to be directly in the hustle and bustle of Destin, then Fort Walton and this condo are perfect for you—plenty of family fun with gorgeous turquoise water, delicious restaurants, ice cream shops, mini golf, etc. but far less busy than being in Destin.

Wonderful stay

Clean, safe, and comfortable. But also great location and well appointed. We were not familiar with the area, just picked the place because the beaches looked great in the pictures and the beach front condos were more affordable in this area. The beach was in fact great; soft sand and clear waters. Very very happy with this rental! The second you open the door, the view! A great corner unit (literally no one passing by your door) close to the elevator and stairs (but not so close that the traffic is obnoxious). It was a lot of the little things that stood out for us, like the night lights in the bathrooms, all the hooks for beach gear, luggage trays, lots of outlets, a nice foyer area to off load all your beach gear. The rental has 2 beach chairs and some floats and toys, but the tower also sets out chairs and umbrellas for guests to use for the day. Connie is very attentive and responds almost immediately when you have any questions. The only disappointment was leaving.

My husband and I have always enjoyed the white sandy beaches and emerald blue waters of Florida. I fell in love with the absolutely breathtaking view from this unit. Okaloosa Island is much more calm and relaxing than the crowds and traffic in Destin. So you can get away from it all and enjoy the serene beaches of Okaloosa Island that is just steps away from your unit or you can drive about 5 miles to Destin to mix with the crowds.

What makes this property unique

My favorite spot in this unit is the balcony. I love to read, nap, sun, and just relax listening to the crashing waves. I can enjoy all the beach atmosphere from the convenience of my balcony. With Wi-Fi I can even bring my laptop out there. This corner unit just has a beautiful unobstructed view.

My kids love that they can walk to the Tom Thumb which is less than a half mile away to get snacks or a movie.

My husband loves that he does not need to drive everyone around and can relax or go play golf.

We also love to take walks. We mix it up between serene beach walks and walks on the sidewalk provided on Santa Rosa Boulevard.

If needed, Okaloosa Island also provides a shuttle service.
