The Farrell is an old country house with lots of character. She has been completely renovated and is peaceful and quiet.

Please pick up pet waste. Only flush toilet paper and clean dryer vent after each use. Fine of $250 for evidence of smoking inside the property.

Family stay

The property is beautiful and the house was perfect, very clean and tastefully decorated. We especially liked the little touches like the artwork. My only complaint is the master bedroom bed was a bit too firm for me, but that’s just me.

Awesome house

We have stayed in Alamance County several times. This is by far my favorite house. It is so cozy. The fenced in area is just percect for dogs. I look forward to staying again.

Great Property and Great Host

This is the only place my family and I stay when we are in Mebane. This home has EVERYTHING you will need or want. I will reschedule my travel dates if possible so I can stay here. LOV IT!

The Farrell Country Calm - family wedding trip

Enjoyed our stay at The Farrell Country Calm which is a nicely renovated cottage home. Convenient for our needs, plenty of parking, quiet street/neighborhood. Nicely furnished, Roku TV plus other. Our small puppy enjoyed his stay as well (very pet friendly choice). Host was excellent and very easy to communicate with.

WHEN IT’S GREAT, IT’S GREAT

This was my 3rd stay at this property. If something isn’t perfect, Monica will make it perfect. I’m already looking forward to my next trip. The location is excellent, close to a lot the surrounding are has to offer and that includes the RDU airport. The yard is awesome.

EVERYTHING WE HOPED FOR AND MORE

Great house in a location close to everything you might need or want. Excellent communications with host, Monica was a please to work with. The house layout is fantastic and there is a huge yard with a large portion fenced in for kids and pets. There was more than ample storage for our things. I’ve already booked my next visit and can’t wait to get there.

Absolutely Stunning

Monica was wonderful to work with and very attentive. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is just beautiful. Everything you could need is provided. Town is about 5 minutes away but you wouldn’t know it. It’s quiet and secluded. We will definitely be back and recommend to family coming from out of town.

Beautiful home, relaxing stay

We had the good fortune to stay at the Farrell during a fall weekend visit with our daughter who attends Elon. It was the perfect location, making it easy to get to the campus as well as to Durham for a show at DPAC, a visit to a pumpkin patch/corn maze in Liberty and dinner in Chapel Hill. The home itself is lovely - well appointed and beautifully updated while still feeling entirely comfortable for our family. Having the fenced-in yard was very convenient, since we were traveling with our dogs. It was a bit chilly for us to enjoy the outside seating and porch swing, but at other times of the year they would be perfect for an evening outside. Monica is a gracious host, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
