Take advantage of the peace and tranquillity that Sweden Creek Retreat has to offer! Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises and no neighbors in sight make for the relaxing setting you’ve been looking for!

This unique straw bale house has been completely renovated with all new appliances and all new furniture. Parts of the property have been cleared and turned to pasture, creating some amazing views! The home is located in a private setting on a farm that is just over 2 miles from the Kingston square. Buffalo River is only 15 minutes away!

If hiking, floating, or riding side by sides is what you’re looking for, you won’t find a better location! Kings River falls, Sweden Creek falls and Hawksbill Crag can all be accessed by way of county road from the retreat. Wilderness Rider is roughly 5 miles up the dirt road and you can ride directly to it!

Buffalo River is only about 15 minutes away where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, and canoeing, along with elk viewing and tons of hiking!

There is limited cell phone service at the house however we do have a land line, for emergency and local calls only, and WiFi. Guest should keep in mind that the closest grocery store is about 30 minutes away so come prepared!

Guests have access to the entire house. The home is not handicap accessible and guests will have to
climb stairs.

Other things to note
Guests should note that there is an extra person fee charged for every guests over 2. We have a maximum occupancy of 6 and a strict no pet policy. Feel free to message us with any specific requests!
