My family and I really appreciated and loved the home. It was perfect. I personally enjoyed walking around the home and sipping coffee by the pool and watching the planes fly over. Will definitely stay again when my family wants to travel with me to Memphis again. Exactly what you see in the pics. Conveniently close to everything and cheap Uber if you prefer. 10/10
The home is spacious and offers inviting places to dine, converse and relax…the bedrooms are expansive with the master bedroom a true master. The large backyard served as a place to enjoy a meal with family/friends; must be ideal in the summer.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
The house is a lovely older home built probably around 1900-1925. It has large rooms, lots of character, and plenty of space. It is evident care has been taken to update it. However, that being said, this is Memphis and not all areas of Memphis feel safe. All of the reviews I had read for this home were good, but the area just was not for me and my family. Obviously, previous guests have not had a problem, so maybe it was just us, but we chose to go to a hotel.
Everything was as advertised. Location is very convenient for any Memphis activities. This home is roomy and comfortable for large family to enjoy. Would definitely go back!
The house is magnificent! Very clean and spacious. We had a couple questions and Justin was very responsive with a text back. The pool was a major plus. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
This was the perfect location. House was beautiful am the pool was a extra bonus. House close to anything you need. Less than 10 minutes from Beale Street. Home had everything inside you needed. Host was easy to communicate with. We will be staying here again
We stayed on the property for a family vacation. The house is exactly what was pictured. The host Justin was an awesome host! He was quick to respond on every aspect of our stay. He was very easy to work with. The house was very spacious and clean. A Quiet neighborhood and easy to get to all the main attractions of Memphis.
My family came to town to celebrate my graduation. We wanted a place where everyone could be together and enjoy family time. Justin's house was the PERFECT place to do so. He was a great host and his home was peefect for my parents, aunts, uncles and cousins to enjoy the weekend of family fun in The sun.
The house is lovely, and well-furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches. Comfortable beds, fun decor. The location was tops. Just on the edge of the Garden District, a beautiful walking/jogging neighborhood, and centrally located to downtown, midtown, and cooper-young—all the places we planned to visit. The first evening we encountered a block party with live music and food trucks just a few blocks’ walk away! Host was super-responsive and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house was very clean upon arrival. It is an old home, so it has the charm and quirks. The house was located in the historic district and close to many sites and downtown. The pool was an amazing asset to the home. The kitchen could use a few more pots, pans, silverware, and toaster. Overall, we had a lovely stay.
Very large, roomy home with lots of space, the pool made for a nice relaxing area and provided lots of entertainment for the kids. The drive into town, Beale Street, etc..was less than 2 miles. Overall it met our needs. Had a slight issue with what appeared to be squirrels that had gotten into a cabinet in the laundry room and made a mess, owner was somewhat proactive and called pest control out but the mess remained throughout our stay (we kept the door closed). Could have used some hand towels in the restrooms and maybe some additional toilet paper / paper towels.
Home was as listed with plenty of room and a hop skip and jump to everywhere. ⁰ There are no bedrooms downstairs with a half bathroom, 3 rooms on second floor with one room with a tv and 2 full bathrooms and a third floor loft with pull out couches and a full bathroom. The stairs are not for the weak LOL. May want to bring some extra towels as there wasnt many. Overall, will stay again and the host responds quickly.
This is a beautiful heritage manor in Midtown, a 8 minute drive to Beale Street. As soon as you walk in the front door you are impressed with it's splendour. Four bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor is the "media room" with 2 couches which can convert to beds but the mattresses are very old and compressed. Big kitchen with lots of pots, Kurig, stainless stove (convection and regular oven), microwave & fridge with ice maker (good size too). The house has a stately feeling with his tall ceilings.
It has it's quirks but that is to be expected with the age of the home. Be warned that doors don't stay closed easily but you can make it work with a bit of effort. Our group were musicians and fans of the blues, sharing the place, so privacy was a necessity.
Washing machine & dryer meant we could travel light, with just carry-on. Loved that there were already spices in the cupboards and they had lots of coffee for us, including sugar. Grocery store (Kroger) was less then 2 miles away.
A very pleasant experience even with the extreme cold and snow Memphis had this January. If you aren't expecting 5 star hotel status, like to have a place to cook and hang out, enjoy old architecture and beautiful neighbourhoods, this is the place to stay.
