We enjoyed the stay!!

It was very nice and clean, bedding and towels smelled nice and clean, basically everything was very good, totally recommend this place.

Overall, the cabin was aesthetically nice inside and functional for our stay. However, there were several issues that stood out compared to other cabins we have stayed at in Broken Bow.The exterior of the cabin was extremely dusty. Everything outside, including the car, hot tub, and outdoor seating areas, was covered in dust. This was unusual based on our prior experiences and affected our ability to enjoy the outdoor spaces.Inside the cabin, we encountered multiple wasps entering the home. When this was brought to the owner’s attention, the concern was dismissed with a suggestion to use wasp spray, and no effort was made to address the issue further.Additionally, there were several items inside the cabin that were damaged or broken, which should have been identified and repaired prior to our stay.While the interior appearance was pleasant, these issues impacted our overall experience. As a result, I would not choose to stay at this Vrbo again and would opt for a different location in the future.

Amazing!

The cabin was so beautiful but also cozy. It was perfect for my family of 6. Located right before you enter the “fun zone” of Hochatown just minutes away from the state park. Will definitely stay here again!

Our stay was very nice and enjoyable the only thing that was a little issue was all the ants and a few bugs, nothing a good spray can't fix! Other than that the place was nice and relaxing. We appreciated that it came equipped with things for the kids to do.

Family Getaway in the Woods!

Summerwoods cabin made for an amazingly invigorating experience for our family getaway!!! It felt so nice to be away from home, but still feel so at home!!! From the moment we entered the property we felt so comfortable. The decor was beautiful inside and out, the beds are made for some "good sleeping", we had everything we needed for cooking our meals and the outdoors was such a bonus. Sitting in the hot tub, soaking in the ambience of the woods and watching tv on the back deck was surely a highlight of our stay!!! You won't want to leave Summerwoods!!!

New Years Eve Get Away

We loved staying at this house! It was perfect for our family and our friends. We all have little ones and it was the perfect space for us to get away and felt the home was comfortable for the littles too. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, plenty of towels, and thankful for a wine opener. :) We loved the outdoor space too. The kids loved the firepit for s’mores. The convenience closet was an awesome feature and perfect when we wanted a snack while watching movies. We had some issues with the fireplace & tv, and the manager was super quick to respond, so that was amazing. We were in great proximity to town. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Hidden Cozy Gem

Initially the location was hard to find. The GPS had you make a turn before getting to the property but once the property was found I was AMAZED. The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and cozy. There was a wasp issue which the owner did alert us before our arrival. Since it was very cold outside, we did have to turn the heat on and the wasp came out but the owners did provide a spray to help control it. Turned out not to be as bad as we expected. The complimentary coffee and snack tray was a nice welcoming package. And the “store” inside the closet for items that you may have forgotten came in handy. Overall very comfortable and accommodating.

Great home. Need to get yellow jacket issue under control.

Our group of friends had a great first trip to Broken Bow. The Summerwoods cabin was a beautiful home. That being said, from the first day, there was a huge yellow jacket issue. There were 4-5 in each bathroom. There was no warning and we did have a friend get stung the first day. From then on, we were all nervous to use the bathrooms. We killed at least 15 yellow jackets during our stay with shoes because there was no product or fly swatter to help the issue. I reached out and the manager was apologetic, but that doesnt make it ok to spend this much money and feel anxious and rushed every time you have to go into a bathroom. I hope the management team is able to get the issue under control. It is a beautiful space but I wouldn’t stay again in that scenario. And I would want anyone who has an upcoming stay to be prepared.

Amazing cabin

Summerwoods cabin was an amazing place for our family of 8 to stay. Everything was smooth and simple from check-in to check-out. The owners really made it as easy as staying at your own home. They had every appliance, dish, and utencil you could ever need in the kitchen. The bunk room was a great experience for the four kids. They loved that each bunk had its own light and plugin. The two king rooms are great as well. One bed is more firm than the other but we chose that one and actually felt like we had better sleep than we do at home! The pillows on the beds are extremely comfortable, so much that we had to find out what they were to purchase them for our home. All three bathrooms are very large and also have everything you need. The living room has foosball, shuffleboard, board games and a bluetooth speaker to use. We played lots of games as a family in here. We wished there was a little more seating in the living room but we managed just fine. The patio deck is a wonderful place and we spent lots of time out there from drinking coffee and watching the news in the morning to the evenings when we would cook our dinners on the flat top and end the evening with a dip in the hot tub. Behind the house is a fire pit that we used to make smores, and yes the kitchen has the roasting sticks available for you. We spent alot of time also playing the cornhole boards behind the house. Overall we can't say enough good things about the cabin and the host!! We will definitely book again!

Perfection in Broken Bow

My husband and son stayed at Summerwoods with my mom and dad. It was the perfect space! There are two spacious master suites with a great bathroom. One king bed is soft, and the other is more firm. The bunk room was fun for my son too! Also, the sheets and towels were amazing. We had plenty of towels! The kitchen was fully stocked with most everything you could possibly need in a kitchen -- plenty of silverware and dishes, cooking utensils, bakeware, etc. There was also a nicely stocked spice drawer (with Pam spray also). The back patio was lovely, although it does get hot back there in the evening when the sun is going down. My husband and son enjoyed the hot tub one evening too. We all enjoyed the griddle, and we cooked most of our meals on it. We also loved having the TV on the back patio (because sadly, it rained most of our weekend there). Location was good! It's in Broken Bow, not quite to the hectic area of Hochatown. You can get to the grocery store in Broken Bow in less than 10 minutes, closer to 5. The road to the cabin is gravel and quite bumpy. Just take it slow! Communication with the owners was abundant. They send quite a few emails in the days leading up to your stay. But it was just the kind of thing I like, so I appreciated it. There was also a nice reminder sign inside on what to do for checkout. Overall, I would rebook this and tell others to book!
