*NEWLY RENOVATED BATHROOM ,new stand up shower , sink and toilet
The Lodge takes you back to a time of Old World Charm in a rustic cottage setting. While you may have an incredible desire for High Tea, with neighbours and invited guests (which we highly recommend), or maybe a relaxing week of delving in to a favourite book, The lodge also boasts Creature Comforts of the modern world such as Air Conditioning, Internet, and Flat Screen TV. We beg you to resist these temptations, and soak up the slower pace of Victoria Beach, its beaches and all of its layed back activities, such as Sailing, Golf, Tennis, to name just a few. All the while staying in the the comfort of this Classic Lodge.

Great Family Gathering

Cottage worked perfectly for our family and was close to our other family in the restricted area. It is a cottage and as such, things like spiders and the occasional mouse are to be expected.

The location is great. 5-minute walk to the bakery and Village Green. They had 4 bikes although one of them didn't work (the breaks were locked). If the cottage was cheaper, it would have been fine for what we got. We paid almost 1800 for 3 nights, so were expecting a bit more.A few negatives. The septic was full when we arrived so we couldn't use the water or bathroom. The owners had it pumped fairly quickly which was nice although we had to find somewhere to use in the meantime. When we got back, we tried opening the windows to let the smell out, but many wouldn't open. When we opened one of the cupboard doors the whole door fell off. There were also, only 2 shower towels for our 5-person booking. We found 2 beach towels, so we used those as well.Overall, I would say it was fine and given our last-minute booking I wasn't expecting a lot.

Had a great time at this cabin. A little bit on the expensive side but a great cabin and a great location. Overall we had an awesome time. One negative was that the hide a bed was very dirty and would have been gross to sleep on.
