The listing here is for the two bedroom, The Lake House Upper, two bedrooms and 1 four piece bath. . The upstairs is designed as a large living room, with a small kitchen. This modern house is winterized, and has been totally gutted and redone. You walk in, and you see 25 feet of glass facing the lake.

The Lake House Upper has a gas burning fireplace in front of the windows. There is a large deck that goes across the entire front on both levels. The house is winterized and also has central air. It has Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a gas grill. The kitchen has a built in oven, gas stove top, dishwasher

Bob's Lake Cottage

The property is difficult to find as it doesn’t show up on GPS in our car nor on Google Maps. But it's private and quiet. The view of the beautiful lake is completely unobstructed and the lake is mere steps away. Everything you need in a kitchen is there. Very comfortable

Accommodating Owner, Stunning location and exactly as described.

I had a rough time finding a cottage for New Years and came across this hidden jewel quite last minute. I was able to quickly connect with the Owner and had excellent communications with her. Last minute, my plans had to change and I ended up only needing the property for a shorter stay. I was most surprised by the Owners pleasant response and accommodating nature. She worked with me to the best of her abilities. When I arrived at the cottage, the space was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The facilities were well maintained and the property manager who was there to greet us was a darling. The cottage was so impeccable that we felt compelled to leave it in the same fashion. Great owners and great management. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. It was a privilege to stay there and can't wait to return in better weather! Thanks again for EVERYTHING!

Magical Place

My friends and I are a group of designers, engineers, and artists who are simply drawn to beauty, harmony and nature. We travel and welcome new possibilities. To ring in the new year (2014), we decided to get away from the madness in Toronto and resort to a cottage accessible from Montreal (for those of us who live there). I found Bob's Lake Cottages through an online search, and merely by accident and fell in love. The website was comprehensive, informative and clear. After corresponding with Marla, who had built the cottages and properties over the years, I was certain that this is the place we wanted to be for a few days. And it was magical. The cottages were beautifully designed, decorated and were well-equipped with everything that we needed, including comfortable rooms, beds, vintage pieces, kitchen appliances, hammocks, fireplace, wifi, and etc. We played board games, listen to music, and even though it was reported that Ontario had been colder than Mars and the North Pole during that time, we were warm and happy.

Amazing cottage

My friends and I had amazing three days at Marla's Cottage (Duplex Up and Down) in Bob's Lake last year and the same group wanted to spend five days at the same place. We love this cottage. It is very well maintained and as opposed to other cottages we stayed before this place is very clean. The owner (Marla) is very responsive and she does as much as she can to make you happy. We had no issues with wife, heating, bbq, stove, etc. Most of the appliances are brand new. We will return back!
