Ocean House 1802 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with gorgeous Gulf-front views on the 8th floor of building 1.

• Balcony can be accessed from the living room and primary bedroom

• Tile floors are throughout the unit

• The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with everything that you need in your home away from home. The dining room table seats five and there are two bar stools for additional seating.

• Washer and dryer in the unit

• The living area has a sofa sleeper

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• Maximum of two cars allowed. Guest are required to purchase parking passes from security upon arrival - $40.00 each, per week, limit 2. Cash is only accepted. Parking passes are $40 each per month for Winter monthly reservations.

• Minimum age to rent is 25.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

Spring Break on the Gulf

Great location and amenities for our family spring break trip to Gulf Shores. Loved the easy access to the beach, the amazing views from the balcony, and the ease of getting around to area attractions.

Spectacular Stay

The unit surpassed my expectations in every way. Check in was fast and easy. The space looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean and well maintained. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, towels etc. Being on the 8th floor gave us incredible views of the gulf. We saw dolphins from our balcony every day we were there. The pool was warm and clean. We will be back!

Fall Break

Great condo and great location! It was a perfect getaway! The only negative was that the elevator was not working when we were leaving. We had to make several trips up and down to the 8th floor hauling our belongings.

Loved our stay!

Property was ideal! Location was great, loved the amenities on the property, the unit itself was very nice! Just be mindful of taxes, cleaning fees, and owner fees because they add up quickly and are significant. Plus there’s a $30 per car to park there. Just things to consider when booking.

Great stay, but…

Great stay, great property, great location. The only complaints that we had were: 1. The keypad lock was a great idea. However, it didn’t always work. Most of the time multiple attempts at entry were necessary. We always finally got it to work, but it wasn’t easy. 2. No hairdryer available, but this was my fault. I somehow overlooked the instructions to bring one. The instructions did say that one should be included, but I honestly didn’t even think about needing one, as I can’t remember the last time I stayed somewhere that didn’t have one. 3. No extra blankets were to be had at all. This wouldn’t be a problem, except there was only one sheet and one light-weight duvet on each bed. I was so cold the first night that I had to go purchase a blanket. Cutting down the thermostat was not ideal, because my husband was not cold-natured. 4. The last night before we were to leave we did a load of laundry in prep to pack and leave. However, the dryer was found to be broken. The dial knob on the dryer had been propped onto the dryer, as if to make the first person who touched it appear to have broken it. I doubt the owners knew about this. However, someone before us absolutely did. This made us unable to dry our clothes effectively. I remembered the maintenance number and called before we left the property, but having no clothes dryer was a major downer. Overall, the stay was good, with the few exceptions noted above. We still had a lovely stay.

Very satisfied

Condo was very comfortable, everything worked well. We were amazed how well it was insulated and designed for noise. Didn’t hear our neighbors or family inside the condo. The only drawback was the balcony was hot, no air flow but not much can be done for that. But did have an amazing view!! Would rent this one again.

Awesome Condo!

This Condo was exactly what me and my family wanted/needed for our vacation. Both bedrooms were spacious, nice balcony overlooking the pool and the beach! The Condo is in a fantastic location from the Hangout and most other restaurants and shopping. We will be booking this Condo again soon. The only thing that was a pain was the elevator for the Condo, it wanted to open multiple times after you pressed the floor you wanted to exit on so you had to hold the Close Door button to make sure it did not open.

Ocean House 1802

This was the second time we stayed in this condo at Ocean House. The only concern is the ocean side bedroom king size bed, which the mattress and frame is beginning to break down or just getting old. When two normal sized people sleep in it they roll to the middle of the bed through the night. Overall it is a good place to stay and we are looking forward to out next stay.

Fall Break in Gulf Shores

We booked the Ocean House 1802 because we loved the pictures we saw on the listing and thought the price was reasonable. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! The place looked great! We found it relaxing to just hang out there when we returned from our daily outings and our children really loved the pool. The owners were polite and quick to respond to any questions we had. The grounds are well maintained and we felt safe during our time there.

Great place!

We loved our stay at Ocean House 1802! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils needed to cook at home when we decided not to go out for dinner. Our favorite part was the convenience to the pool and beach, literally just down the elevator and out the parking garage. So nice!

Family Beach Fun

This property offered a short walk to the beach, which was the primary reason we selected it. There was no long boardwalk, so this made the walk down to the beach ideal for our family with younger children. We used the beach service, but many families brought their own chairs and umbrellas. There were convenient showers, bathroom access, and gates from the beach to pool to condo. The pool was also nice, clean, and large shared between two condos. The kids loved the pool features with lights, fountains, and inclines (no stairs) from the shallow to deep end. We enjoyed the beach views from the pool, but wished there had been umbrellas for shade at the pool. All the staff we met were incredibly nice and helpful. The condo was fairly clean when we arrived and had all the necessities for our stay. The balcony was the star of the property with table and chairs to enjoy the incredible view of the gulf. Most of the complaints are due to the condo being older, such as small condo, small showers, and little pantry space in the kitchen. Even though the decor was pleasant, the tv’s had issues, the beds were squeaky and uncomfortable, the appliances made loud noises, some sinks had problems draining, the oven needs cleaning and set off fire alarm, and there were junk in the closets. The biggest problem was the front door lock, which usually required two hands and got stuck a lot. Regardless of a few inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back to Gulf Shores.

Much enjoyed

Overall, the stay was great!! The condo was very nice and spacious. The cleanliness could have been better than it was. The stove had crumbs still on it and the shower in the master bedroom had hair still in it. Wasn’t pleased but those were very minor and probably over looked. The toilet in the master bedroom was somewhat broken/ I had to shake the handle to keep it from continuing to run. There wasn’t a broom in the condo but it had 3 dust pans. I thought that was very awkward. I was able to use the vacuum cleaner as the broom. Despite those minor problems, the stay was great!! I truly enjoyed it. The view was awesome and I would comeback and stay again..
