Our villa is located a short walk (about 400 yards) and easy access to South Forest Beach. Voted repeatedly as one of the best beaches in the US. Our villa is located in the heart of the most popular location on the island. Walk to shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza. Bike rentals just a block away or have them delivered. Our villa has an open floor plan. The first floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, dishes and cooking utensils. Off of the kitchen is the laundry area which includes a full-size washer and dryer. The living room/dining room combination has a large dining table. The living room is tastefully decorated and has a 50” smart screen TV. There is a half bath on the first floor. The second floor has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 single beds and a trundle. The other has a queen and 1 single. These Two bedrooms are equipped with a TV. There is also a full bathroom This bathroom is beautifully decorated and has a soaking tub with shower and glass shower doors. The third floor has a large bedroom with a newly remodeled private bath it features a walking shower., a king-sized bed and 42” TV. We do not supply beach towels. Please bring you own. There are 2 parking spaces. One numbered one not. Parking permits are required. Please refer to the check-in information. 4 beach chairs are available for your use during g your stay. On our beautiful patio we include a charcoal grill for your exclusive use.
Please, do not bring beach chairs, wagons, bikes, toys, coolers, etc. into the villa. Use the service area for storage. Bikes should be parked in the bike racks at the end of the building.

Overall great stay, not a far walk to the beach and the owner was incredibly kind and responsive! It was the perfect space for a family trip, the beach toys and chairs were a huge bonus.

Rent a bike and just ride around everywhere you go! The house was great and we found that we had everything we needed. Pool is super close and the bike ride to Coligny beach was quick and fun.

Perfect place to have a getaway with Friends

This property is perfectly located across the S Forest dr road to the Beach and close access to Coligny plaza. The property itself was great if we found a issue we communicated with the owner and it was fixed extremely quick. Villa has everything any traveler should need and beds are really good. On my next stay I will for sure go through Linda and her property because they are well remodeled and clean accommodations

The property was set up perfectly for our family - 3 couples and one baby - the twin bed was perfect! The location is nice, close to the beach, bike rentals, and dining. The pool wasn't opened and this was not communicated to us - we were pretty bummed since we were traveling with a child but... we survived!

Quick and easy walk to the beach.

Property was extremely clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and even with 8 people we always had hot water. We would definitely try to book this room again in the future. Property owner was responsive when we had questions. The location in relation to the beach was fantastic and took no more than 6 minutes to get there. Our only complaint would be the king bedroom on the top floor was quite warm regardless of the thermostat being set to 68 for the house. There was an overhead fan and box fan that we used to help keep cool.

Can't beat the location for the price but if you are looking for amenities, look elsewhere. We were rarely in the condo -- the beach was beautiful and so close as were shops and restaurants -- but the condo is really dated and the kitchen/bathrooms were poorly stocked. Review the photos and reviews so you can see what you're getting into and bring along anything you might need, from a hair dryer to beach towels. There are chairs to rent from the beach patrol at several points ($35 for 2 chairs and an umbrella) and a nearby hotel bar offers lunch and a break from the sun.

True, we do not provide a hair dryer and beach towels and we never stated that we did. However, I do not understand why the renter said the kitchen/bathrooms were poorly stocked. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, kitchen utensils and cookware. The bathrooms are complete with bath towels and a starter toiletry set.

Air Conditioning Problem

The third floor of the condo was at least 10 degrees warmer than the second floor. The bath towels were very worn and scratchy.

I am so sorry to hear this. I am also very surprised because half way through your stay you said so far so good? If you would have communicated to me I would have had new towels delivered immediately. Unfortunately I can only fix what I know. Yes the third floor is a little warmer than the lower floors. Heat does rise. I include tips for helping keep the third floor cool, and if followed most renters have no problem. Thanks for your feed back.

2022 Family vacay

The Location is great. The unit was fine. This unit is not updated but adequate for bedrooms and the bathrooms have been updated. The Kitchen is in need of some items. It had minimal utensils and glasses etc. The washer needs updated. How can you go on a beach vacation and not be able to wash your beach towels. Ridiculous. It did have Beach items there you can use. The grill is small but we were able to use it and overall or stay was great. We rented this unit because we could rent it for less than a week.

I’m sorry you were not satisfied. If however you would have told me your needs during your stay I could have addressed them. If there were not enough glasses I would have had them delivered to you the next day. In your review, you are critical without specifics or correct info. 1. The washing machine is NEW. (2 years) 2. Kitchen is stocked with service for 8 + including new pots and pans EVERY year, glass were new in April and fully stocked. Appliances include dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave, NEW stainless stove, New stainless Refrigerator, crockpot, blender, Newer washer/dryer to name a few. 3. To address updates, all 3 bathrooms have been completely remodeled in the last 3 years. Rooms are freshly painted on a regular schedule. Carpet is newer and is steamed cleaned every year as is furniture. mattress are within the last 3 years. 4. Grill is a size that will fit in the patio without causing crowding or creating a hazard. It is also pictured on the site so you were able to see it before you booked. Seems unfair to complain when you were aware before you booked. We make every attempt to keep our home in the best condition. Each year we update as evidenced by the bathrooms, new appliances, painting, new flooring , not to mention unseen items like AC, hot water tank, etc. We live here for part of the year it is our home and we maintain our home. A review isn’t much good to me if it just complains and doesn’t give specifics. The information renters get clearly ask that if something if broken or missing the renter notify me right away so I can remedy the problem.

Great location, but overdue for a remodel

The location was fantastic. Just walk across the street, past the Sea Side Villas, and you're at the beach in less than 5 minutes. Nice pool at the complex that is rectangular so you can actually swim laps. Great parking right in front. However, we would not stay in this particular unit again due to the outdated decor and furnishings. We are generally not too picky, but this place desperately needs a remodel. It's pretty run down and all the furniture is ancient. One other complaint: it sleeps at least 6, but only a teeny table for 2 on the back patio. We would have liked to eat our meals outside, but not possible. Also, other units we've stayed at had coolers, beach chairs, beach toys, etc for the beach, but not here. You don't realize how nice that extra is until you don't have it!

While we appreciate constructive criticism, this review is not the case. The living room furniture was purchased new at the end of the 2015 season. The kitchen has been updated with new floors, countertops, and sink. The ceramic tile floor was installed in 2015. Second floor bathroom was updated in 2015. Lamps and decor were updated to match new living room furniture. Perhaps these renters did not care for the decor, but it is by no means old or outdated. We have chosen an island theme to complement the area. Please take a look at the pictures before making judgement. We update our pictures as we make changes. Each year we strive to update, repair and maintain our villa to the highest standards. Thank you for reading and we hope you will make you decision based on the pictures.

Amazing location, needs to update AC unit

This place is only a 5-10 minute walk to everything in Coligny (beach,shops, restaurants, etc) and right down the road to sea pines. The house itself is slightly dated but clean and well taken care of. The only thing is in one of the bathrooms there was hair on the floor, counters and in the tub, a little gross but easily remedied. The major issue with this place was the air conditioning. It does not reach the top floor. In order to get the top floor even remotely comfortable we had to turn the AC down low and freeze the lowest level. We were wrapped in blankets downstairs only to be sweating upstairs. It took a day and a half for the thermostat (on the middle floor) to even say it was 72. We were able to cool the upstairs by keeping the blinds and the door closed day and night and finally the one little vent was able to push out enough air to cool the room down slightly. Fortunately it was only a big deal at night as we weren’t really using it during the day. It was still a great place just needs to add an extra in-room air conditioner for the upstairs or something. I do recommend bringing your own pillows and towels. They provide towels for the rooms(not for the beach) but are smaller and thin. The pillows are all very flat and there are not enough to double up. They do provide a few games for families and several books as well as a pack n play in one of the closets so that was a nice perk.

Thank you for your review. I’d like to first say that we ask if there is any problem upon checkin you let me know immediately so it can be remedied. You did not inform me of any cleaning problems. If you had I would have immediately had the cleaning crew return to fix any problems. I would much rather you tell me of a problem and let me fix it than for you to tell me in a review. I’d also like to point out that we specifically say we Do Not provide beach towels. This is in our listing. Perhaps you didn’t look in the closets, we do provide extra pillows along with blankets. These are located in the bedroom and hall closets. To address the air conditioning, we do have room darkening shades on the 3rd floor. Keeping these closed can make a big difference in temperatures. As with most multi level homes, the upper floors do not typically cool as quickly as the lower floors. Keeping blinds closed and keeping the ceiling fan running usually works well. The towels we provide are standard size towels. They are not oversized towels. We like to keep our clients happy, but can only do this if we know of problems when they happen. We can not remedy something if we are not made aware of the problem.

Amazing place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our vacation in Hilton Head. This location allows you to walk to many major areas around it. The kitchen was accommodating for the meals we prepared, the bathrooms and bedrooms were large and we did not feel cramped. We will definitely be looking to stay again when we return to Hilton Head next time!

Great place for a family vacation

We choose the South Forest Beach location because it has a beatuiful beach, great shopping and delicious resturants. Everything you need is within walking distance. It is great for children and adults alike.

What makes this property unique

The bike trail is right outside the door. The beach is right across the street. Directly across South Forest Beach Drive, walk through Sea Side Villas to the beach. Bike rentals are 1 block away, or bikes can be delivered to your door. Simply choose a bike rental company and make your reservation with them before you arrive. There is entertainment year-round at Coligny Plaza (a short walk from the villa). Free public tennis and pickle ball courts are a few blocks from the villa. Piggly Wiggly grocery store is located at Coligny Plaza and is a short walk from the villa. There is also a fresh fruit, vegetable and fresh seafood stand along South Forest Beach Drive. Celebration Park is about 2 blocks from our home and offers entertainment year-round along with exercise equipment, playground, children's museum. You really don't need a car once you get here. I love walking everywhere. Our courtyard is beautiful, and our swimming pool is so relaxing. Relax on our Patio or at the pool.
