About this property
Relaxing rustic cabin on the lake 25 feet from the shore.
Get away from the cell phone (even though there is reception), computer and hustle of life and relax in the beauty by the Maine waters. The fishing is some of the best in the state! Bring your boat or kayak to explore the Grand Falls Flowage which adjoins other lakes (Lewy Lake, Long Lake and Big Lake). You can also explore up the Saint Croix river. Grand Lake Stream is also nearby for fly fishing. Also nearby is West and East Grand lakes for large trout/salmon fishing. In the winter bring ice fishing gear and or your snow mobile, enjoy the many trails nearby in this part of the state/Canada.
Our home is rustic but if you are looking for a place of peace and quiet, you will find it here. The cabin has all amenities, a full kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms, a Livingroom, Wifi, a screened in porch and deck. The Livingroom also has two pull out queen beds to allow you to fit up to 8 people.
There is no smoking allowed in the lake house. Pets are allowed but at an extra cost for each pet.
There is large outdoor fireplace and a grill/flat top griddle for cookouts. In town of Princeton 1 mile away, is a very nice grocery store (with very fresh lobster and clams) and an Ace hardware should you need a license to fish. Also, most of the stores in Baileyville/Woodland and Princeton carry bundles of firewood in case our supply is low.
You are apt to see deer, moose and fox around the property from time to time. Daily you will hear the loons, ducks, Canadian Geese and eagles especially in the early morning or evening hours.

You will need to bring all of your own food and beverages. You may notice some food supplies and beverages here. They belong to my family as we are here quite often year around. Please when you leave, make sure that all wet towels and linens are left either hung or in the hamper. I appreciate you also leaving the bedding on the beds and not on the floor and doing up all your dishes before you depart. If you move anything inside or outside please place it back before you leave. Clean up anything spilled and if something breaks please let me know. Leaving the cabin as neat and clean as you found it keeps our costs down all around and I appreciate your help with this. And we ask that you are out if the house by 11 AM promptly please. If you are around, trash goes out to the end of the driveway early on Thursday.
The dock is usually in the water from late May until October so you are welcome to bring your boats or kayaks. There is boat launch only a few hundred feed down at the end of the road where you can launch any boat. If you like to fish bring your tackle, we have a large variety of fish in this lake and nearby waters (largemouth bass, small mouth bass, landlock salmon, lake trout, brook trout, Atlantic salmon that come up the Saint Croix river from time to time, white perch, pickerel, sunfish, hornpout, alewife, shiners, smelts, white suckers, banded killfish, cusk and eel.
There is parking for several vehicle's or boat trailer on the property or roadside. The property is accessible by any vehicle or even travel the road by your ATV. ATV trails/ snowmobile trails are accessible nearby.
