Location is great

Location of the property is perfect. The outdoor setting has potential (needs some tidying up and instructions). The unit was clean and had plenty of towels and most kitchen equipment (needs some more silverware). Drawbacks - There was dirty laundry outside our main door for the four days we were there. Two hours before we were to check out, a man entered the unit. That was a surprise as we were not expecting nor ready to receive any visitors. Overall - potential is there.

Nice old home but no assistance

First the place is a little hard to find. The keyless entry is good if you watch the video. The written instruction was confusing. There are many rules to follow and once you sign the contract online you cant refer to them because they are not located in the home. We are 2 older women 75 and 65. When we booked it said nothing about stairs. We had to lug our luggage and food up many stairs. The beds are hard and pillows very soft so sleeping was not good. I respected the wishes to use the enclosed dog area. The area had high grass and weed and was basically in poor shape. Its hard to pick up poop in high grass. It was very hot abd stuffy since it was upstairs. Each room had a electric unit but it would only blow hot air. We had to search for the 1 remote for all units. There again was no writing instructions on how to get the fan or a/c mode working. I tried everything. I then tried contacting the landlord by phone. I hot a recording to use the VRBO app. I attempted that 5x and kept getting the option to book a stay vs leaving a message. We were contacted to wash the linen. That was a ridiculous request since you pay a cleaning fee. Also the laundry room was full of linnen in the washer and dryer. My friend ended up staying but I left after 1 day since my black retriever mix was too hot to sleep and paced all night. The house like i said was old and very creaky so we kept my friend up . I recommend a written instruction and rule book posted in home for future guest.
