Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our studio style cottages are quiet, well appointed and comfortable. Minutes from a beautiful coffee shop and general store, trails, views and lookoffs - our campus is sure to delight. Make our cottages your home away from home in beautiful Cape Breton. Our campus is located right on the Cabot Trail. We are less than a five minute walk through a private trail to the ocean and private lake. Our gardens are lush, grounds kept bright and clean and we're excited to have you stay with us. Free parking is available right at the doorstep of your cottage. You'll arrive and check in is a breeze. We are located 5km from a coffee shop and restaurant, 4km from a general store. There are artisan shops nearby and we are located 14km from the new Destination Cape Smokey. As you enter our cottage area, parking is located right in front of your cottage. We do have space for extra cars, so please just ask if you're travelling in more than one vehicle.

Cozy cottage - well appointed. Perfect winter spot, 20 minutes from Cape Smokey. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful location, especially in the winter.

We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy.

Bliss!

Things are meticulously planned out and well appointed. Adorable tiny house get-away! It allows us to eat simple meals and get out on the trails and beaches. Come back to read a book on your own personal deck or grill a feast. Quiet sleeping, away from the main hubbub, but scenic easy-peasy drives. The Island is stunning! The owners are absolutely lovely and helpful!

Great Location for Exploring Cabot Trail

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. Location was a great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. Lovely property with access to hiking trails right on site and just a short walk to the ocean. The only issue I would note is that the floor is two different heights between the kitchen and living/bedroom area. This is a bit hazardous and we had to be careful until we got used to it. Both my husband and I either tripped or stubbed our toes.I would suggest doing something to make the transition in heights more smooth.
