Deb and Dave were very nice hosts, and went out of their way to make our stay extraordinary. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. It’s located in a quiet lake community with a spectacular view of the water. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Harlan Lake!

This VRBO was excellent in every way. They really went out of their way to provide all the amenities that you would want in a lake side cabin. It was extremely neat and clean. Sitting out on the deck in the early morning with a cup of coffee provides an excellent view of the lake and local wild life. We saw deer grazing almost every morning. The whole experience was delightful and we'd like to come back and do it all over again some day. We highly recommend this VRBO!Gary

Quaint little cabin

Small place that had just enough space for a weekend fishing trip with a buddy. The 2 separate bedrooms each with a comfortable queen bed was great.

Wonderful stay!

This home is the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in and is niclely stocked. The hosts were very tentative and prompt in communicating with us. We were lucky to be able to meet them in person and they are the nicest people! Location is quiet with a lake view from the back deck and is just a short walk to the water. Couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful get away!! Peaceful surroundings. Cabin was very nice and clean. Loved sitting on the deck looking out at the lake. Watched an eagle swoop down and get a fish out of the water and a doe walk the property line and watch us the whole way. Would recommend this cabin for sure. We will be return visitors. Dave and Deb were exceptional hosts!!!

The property was perfect for a lake visit. The deck overlooks the lake and is shaded morning and evening. Perfect to enjoy coffee early morning. Everything was spotless. We were not familiar with Harlan Dam and we loved that the property was very close to our camper families. It was a quick trip to Methodist Cove. Conveniently located between Republican City and Alma and a very short drive to North Shore Marina.

Quiet and Relaxing Getaway

Can’t say enough about our nice stay at this property. The cleanliness was top notch (I’m a stickler about that). The cabin is cozy but roomy enough and has everything you’ll need. The beds were comfortable, too. Close access to the lake and activities with friends who have cabins by the North Shore Marina. Great walking trail on a quiet lane. Perfect for setting outside watching the lake. Will definitely be booking again!! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!!

What a charming and comfortable cabin by the lake! Hosts Deb and Dave gave us a warm welcome by having twinkle lights aglow, a personal welcome note, and a gift card to a local shop. They were very quick to respond when a fuse needed flipping, and very pleasant to chat with. We enjoyed grilling burgers, playing cards and relaxing on the beautiful deck. We watched water fowl and fish playing in the water. The stars at night were an extrabonus. All these things together made our stay restful and relaxing. Such a lovely peaceful place!

Lake Cabin Harlan County Reservoir

The Host was very courteous and always provided responses with helpful info to my emails such as boat ramp location, etc. Provided maps and directions to Cabin and Marina. The Host assisted us with boat parking which was an issue. The property was very clean. There was a nice deck to enjoy a view of the lake. The kitchen has all appliances and fully stocked. (no dishwaser). Made our trip very enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!
