Welcome to your own private lake house retreat on a picturesque peninsula in the heart of Northern Kettle Moraine, Wisconsin. This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin offers stunning views & comfortable accommodations. With a wrap-around deck, fully equipped kitchen, and open-concept living area, this cabin is well suited for those who enjoy the great outdoors and want a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
With thousands of acres of state forest, hiking, biking and skiing trails, as well as a variety of local amenities, you'll never run out of things to do near the Birchwood Log Cabin Retreat. Indulge in delicious coffee, sweet treats and a good breakfast at the local bakery shop. After a long day our playing in the state forest, grab a drink at the Tiki Bar down the street or head into Dundee for great bar food at McJuggers!
Due to HOA Regulations, there is no access to the lake of any kind.

What makes this property unique
PLEASE NOTE: Using Birchwood Lake is prohibited during your stay, but just remember we’re just two blocks away from Kettle Moraine Lake and the beach at the Tiki Bar! We’re also only 5 minutes from Long Lake, Auburn Lake, Mauthe Lake, Forest Lake, and Crooked Lake. With all of these fantastic features, you’ll love the perfect balance of peace and activity that our cabin escape offers.
We love sharing our space with others, but we want to let you know that this will not be the typical lake experience you might find on other lake house Airbnb. The HOA limits access to the private lake to owners only. Until that changes, we’re unable to offer access to the lake during this time. You are welcome to use the paddle equipment provided at the cabin for boating, fishing and swimming at our neighboring lake: Kettle Moraine Lake. The swimming, fishing and tiki bar make for a great addition to the area. On the other hand, our cabin is situated on the quiet side, where peace and serenity rule. We love walking over the tiki bar and enjoying the beach, swimming and vibe they have going on!
