The property comes stocked with a generous supply of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand soap, air freshener, daily shower cleaner, designated make up towels), kitchen products (a variety of cleaning supplies, sponges, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags), and complimentary locally roasted coffee.
Daybreak on the Blue is the perfect hub for endless mountain adventure and exploration. Our sparkling clean cabin in the woods is located only 4 miles from downtown Breckenridge and surrounded by some of Colorado's most coveted hiking trails and 14ers. The cabin is nestled among towering pines where you will experience more sightings of wildlife than people while still being conveniently close to all that the core of Summit County has to offer.
In the Winter - Our property is conveniently located within a 7-40 minute drive from seven world-renowned ski resorts including Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts. Additional winter activities include snow tubing, ice skating, ice fishing, dog sledding, snowmobiling and more- all within 5-30 minutes of the property.
In the Summer/Fall - Within 5-30 minutes of our cabin, you can access incredible hiking trails for all skill levels from family-friendly strolls to legendary 14ers. Mountain biking trails are accessible just down the road and span on for as long as you can pedal. Spend a day browsing the unique shops on Main Street Breckenridge and plan a local craft brewery tour throughout Summit County. 25 minutes away is the Lake Dillon/Frisco Marina where you can spend a day lounging on the lakeshore or rent paddle boards and a pontoon boat to get out on the water. There are tons of local events and festivals throughout the year to look out for as well.
No matter the time of year, Daybreak on the Blue offers all of the comfort and amenities you need to feel right at home. In addition to all of the necessities, we are pleased to offer some really great amenities including an indoor hot tub and gas fireplace. One of our favorite things about the cabin is the wrap-around deck that offers great views of the mountains- the sunsets are unbeatable! There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon happy hour outside.
The entrance of the cabin brings you into the living area with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, and large flat screen TV for lounging after a long day of mountain exploring. You’ll immediately feel like you’ve escaped to a traditional log cabin in the woods. Accessible from the living area is the deck overlooking the river and Mount Baldy. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the cool mountain air with the sweet smell of pine trees and bubbling sounds of the Blue River running through the backyard.
The fully stocked kitchen is recently remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you’ll need to whip up your favorite meals for family and friends.
