Located on the top (3rd) floor (walk-up; no elevator), this two-bedroom, two-bath condo accommodates up to 5 guests, including children and infants, making it the perfect choice for families or small groups looking for a memorable Kauai vacation.

Oceanfront Views: Enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from your private lanai, including moonrises, sunrises, and the seasonal whale watching (November – April).
Accommodates up to 5 Guests: Ideal for families or small groups. Bedding includes:
Primary bedroom (loft) with a queen bed and private bath
Second bedroom with 2 twins (can be converted to a king for a fee)
Queen sofa sleeper in the living room
2 Bathrooms: One for each bedroom and additional access from the main living space.

This condo does not have air conditioning. However, the unit is designed to stay cool with ceiling fans and portable fans throughout. Open the sliding glass doors to let in the refreshing ocean breezes and enjoy the natural island climate.

A little piece of paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying here! You can go to sleep listening to the ocean and wake up to a glorious sunrise. The Garden Island staff is the best. They are always so helpful and kind. The unit is very clean and comfortable with timely replenishment of linens and towels. The location is perfect for exploring all parts of Kauai and convenient to local stores and restaurants. We have been coming here for nearly 20 years and will be back again! It’s our favorite place!

Amazing view and location

This condo was perfect for us. From the lanai we saw whales spouting and even one jumping. Perfect location, comfortable beds, great space. We loved everything about our stay!

Cute Condo!

We loved our stay at this cute little condo! The place was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was great! We were able to walk across the street for groceries, Saturbucks and Subway. We also enjoyed our walk to Downtown Kappa’a!

Stay at Kapaa in Kauai

As advertised. Great location and oceanfront property. Can watch and listen to waves anywhere in this unit and especially great sitting on the balcony. The place works great for a family of 5. Serves as a great base camp to travel to different sites in Kauai. Highly recommended!!

Nice Appartement, well equipped and proper. Nice Ocean view. Possibility to wash clothes. There is no beach at the resort where you can swim. We can recommend the appartement.

Beautiful Location

Our stay at the 3rd floor condo was great. The property was within walking distance of everything we needed and the panoramic ocean front views were stunning. The condo was very clean but could use a little TLC with a pocket door that stuck, a bathroom tub that didn’t have a plug to take a bath and there wasn’t an Elevator which was a challenge with luggage and an aging parent where stairs are tough. Still we had a marvelous trip.

On the beach

The condo was ok. Downstairs was better than the bedroom and bath upstairs that need remodeling. Kitchen was well-stocked. The view from the condo was great. We like staying in Kapaa because of the proximity to Hanalei and Poipu. This condo was not air conditioned and we did not need A/C at night but did during the day. Won’t stay there again because of that.

We have been staying at, Kapaa Shore for over 15 years and most of that time has been in KS305. The location is perfect for exploring the island and the views are stunning. You get a 180° view of the ocean and east shore. The unit is comfortable, clean and they have kept it maintained and updated through the years. The team at Garden Island Properties is the best, very accommodating and helpful. We are already set to go for next year!

Lovely getaway, central location

The property is as described and we had a nice week there. There were lots of thoughtful extras on hand in the condo - paper towels, coffee filters, dish and laundry tablets, and even an air dryer for hanging clothes! These things were really a nice touch - I brought half that stuff in my suitcase because we are accustomed to staying places where those things aren’t provided. The location really is ideal for sightseeing all over the island and we loved having the Safeway across the street and also the Wailua Shave Ice which was the best shave ice we had our entire trip! There’s also an adorable downtown area with nice shops and restaurants less than a 5 minutes drive from the property. I had several questions over the course of our week and the owners always responded very quickly.

Quiet and peaceful. 10 minutes to the airport, 30 to Princeville and 30 to Poipu- very central to access most of Kauai. Great eats at Sam’s Ocean View a few minutes north. Also loved the walking path in Kapaa along the ocean. The condo was clean, comfy beds and easy access with minimal contact with others. Nice pool but limited hours- closed at 5:30 each evening.

Location was great: walking distance to Kapa’a on a nice foot-bike path, only a few miles up to Hanalei or down to southern points. It was a little difficult to find at first. Nothing indicated that it was part of a larger property, Kapa’a Shores, which has condos managed by at least 3 different companies, apparently. There was a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath on the first floor, and a loft with bed and bathroom. Nice and airy and light, all.
