Cobalt Cottage is a brand-new Oceanside escape on the special part of Eleuthera known as Whale Point. This part of the island is just a few hundred feet wide, separating a calm sandy harbor from the Atlantic, in fact from our rooftop deck you can see the turquoise Bottom Harbor, Harbour Island’s pink sand beach and the rocky Atlantic coast!

Great hosts, great property manger, very accommodating, beautiful home in a beautiful place! I would definitely recommend and would stay here again. The way they decorated was very festive and pretty and colorful! This house is for sale and if only I could afford a home in the Bahamas I’d love to snatch this one up!
We’re so thankful that there was last minute availability as we needed to extend our time in Eleuthera by 2 days due to snow storms at home. I fell in love with the decorating style of each room, even though we only used one. The options for enjoying the sun or shade are wonderful. I especially loved the bed/bench swing and took a nap right after we unpacked! It’s a quick walk to the beach and to the lagoon where we watched turtles swimming around in the morning. If you have kids with you, this is a great place to stay as there is room to run and play in the yard, there’s a slide and swings and a great bunk bed/loft room. I have absolutely nothing negative to say except I wish we stayed longer!
Loved the local Whale Point Beach, turtles galore and some fun fishing from the kayaks! Beautiful view of the Atlantic from the house, and easy walk to the calmer, turquoise water. The kayaks are nice and really made this place for us with the easy access to Bottom Harbor. Pittman's Cove for conch salad with local island vibe and Daddy Joe's for toasted coconut pina coladas were our favorites. We found the digital guide the owner provided very helpful.
From having Adrian support us with getting a car to having a private beach for kayaking and quiet, it was just the getaway we wanted. The beds and pillows were perfect, the space was decorated beautifully, the full kitchen gave us everything we needed, and the generator kicked in when the power went out. This space is set up for fun in the sun and lots of water time. The best part? The porch couch swing... we spent most of our time there enjoying morning time and hang out. Highly recommend this out of the way getaway.
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at cobalt cottage. Adriane, the property manager, made the check in process smooth. He picked us up at the airport with our rental car and showed us some great local spots to get everything we needed for the stay. The location is beautiful, quiet, and near some great beaches and snorkel spots . The hanging bed was a very nice touch!
We had a lovely catered dinner from Denise’s Delights with delicious fresh caught fish. They set a wonderful ambiance with fresh flowers. It was a wonderful experience during the trip.
Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We visiting June with a 2 month old, and kids ages 3, 5, 6 and 7. Also along were grandparents.
We initially chose this house because it seemed to be accommodating to kids with the swings, slide, and the additional sodded, lush grass yard.
I didn't do my due diligence in totally researching Eleuthera, as we had initially planned to stay in Spanish Wells.
The property manager met us as soon as we got off the plane, and seemed to know exactly who we were with names. He arranged a rental SUV for us, and He drove us to the property about 20ish mins away (thank gosh, because it was getting dark, and as you get to whale point, it's pitch black dark on a gravel, pot hole road.)
I was nervous at first, but then you get to these lush trees, heavily forrested & unexpected landscape- you pull into the drive and the house is undeniably adorable. Once you step out of the car, it's dark, but you can hear the roar of the Atlantic waves crashing behind the house.
The house was as pictured, amazingly decorated & well thought out details from design to actual functionality.
The linens were all great, the mattresses were so comfortable, they bought quality. The Atlantic is not swimmable behind the house but it's a beauty to watch & hear. The cove 5 mins behind the house was shallow, clear, and full of starfish and turtles.
I felt very secluded initially, but then came to enjoy the total silence and pitch black remoteness of the area. The stars were amazing. Would 100% return.
