Your Property
Experience a magical lakeside retreat at this picture-perfect 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath modern cabin,
perfectly located next to stunning Lake Taneycomo. Designed to welcome large groups, this home
comfortably sleeps up to 18 guests.
The airy, open-concept living space features beautiful natural light from gorgeous floor-to-ceiling
windows, a cozy electric fireplace, and plenty of seating for movie nights. The bright, modern kitchen
is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Enjoy meals at the huge
farmhouse-style dining table or the spacious breakfast bar, all while overlooking the stunning lake and
woods.
For entertainment, challenge your group to a friendly ping pong competition in the game room, or slip
out to the sheltered porch to soak in your private hot tub.

All bedrooms feature comfortable memory foam mattresses and blackout blinds.

extended family vacation

this property was of the upmost highest construction we have ever stayed in! It was truly a showpiece. We will continue to stay at this property until we experience burnout, which may never happen. Don’t know why we would stay anywhere else to be honest!. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the property felt safe and secure and had an awesome view of the lake.

The cabin was absolutely perfect. Hot tub was great after a long day of activities.We cooked at the cabin alot, and it was very convenient having utensils, pans, dishes, and glassware to utilize. The beds were super comfy!The grill and big table on the balcony was amazing. We actually ate out there alot!We definitely want to come back soon!The hosts were very accessible and very pleasant to work with!

Family trip

Four day stay with siblings (most are retired). Absolutely loved the accommodations. The two bedrooms on the ground level met the needs of those who couldn't do the stairs. The 5.5 bathrooms made mornings and bedtime a breeze. Not being downtown meant a bit more travel, but the quiet and surroundings more than offset that. Beds and furnishings were comfy cozy. Hosts were wonderful to work with. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time staying there!

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The place was beautiful and exceptionally clean. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the openness in the great room. It was fun to have a ping-pong table when most places put in a pool table instead. There is plenty of room for a big party. The hot tub was clean and felt wonderful. The view off of the back deck to the lake was incredibly peaceful and serene I highly recommend booking this cabin. The host is very accommodating and easy to work with and quite responsive.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect weekend getaway with our family. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and sitting in the hot tub. Afterwards, we grilled out and went out to experience Branson. We came back and slept like babies! We definitely recommend the cabin for making memories with your family.

Comforting

Trout and About was absolutely peaceful. Everything about this home made the visit very hard to leave. From the decor to the patio and the comfortable beds. Everyone in my family had a room with a bathroom. The amazing morning walks on the trail to watching deers pass you. This place is a must stay.

Awesome cabin with beautiful views!

We came to Branson with 7 adults and 5 kids and this cabin fit us perfectly! The views were beautiful, the amenities were great, and the drive into town was not far at all. You were far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to get to area attractions easily. The house was dusty so you could tell no one had stayed there in a while or the cleaning crew didn't do a thorough job, so we did have to clean some upon arrival, but it wasn't to the point of not wanting to stay there again.

Beautiful new cottage

This little gem is so welcoming.,, cute little cottage with bedrooms that have their own bathrooms,,, the kitchen is well stocked… the mattresses in the bedrooms are so comfortable feels like a cloud. The bore of the land odds breathtaking.., I would definitely recommend this place

Simply beautiful

This home was so beautiful and decorated with style. Each bedroom has its own three pieces bathroom and very spacious. The house had everything you needed to fill like your home away from home! The hot tub was an additional perk and worked well 😄. There were no hidden fees added to the pricing. The management team responded immediately when we thought the air condition wasn't working. We didn't know how to turn it on 😁! Overall, this was the perfect place to stay. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again for your hospitality!

We loved it!!

Awesome stay!

We loved our stay at the Trout and About. It was very roomy. The 5 bedrooms all with private baths was amazing! The porch and view are amazing. (Unfortunately it was a little too cool for us to hang out on the porch). Any issue or concern was answered very promptly by the owner. Overall everything was clean and wonderful for us.

Perfection location for our sister's trip

Trout and About was the perfect location for our sister's trip! We loved being out of town a bit so that we could enjoy this beautiful lakefront property when we weren't at the shows. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, there's plenty of space and it is well stocked. Our nightly routine was coming home to sit on the back porch and watch fireflies while we talked and ate a treat. We will be back!

Very nice accommodations. There were a few issues when we first arrived but Brad was very quick to correct these.

The property was nice and the bedrooms were adequate for our large group of 12 people. The view of Lake Taneycomo was nice. The boat launch was too small for comfort for our pontoon, so had to drive it to the marina near the landing to put it in the water. That was inconvenient.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway in Branson!

We just had the most amazing stay at this vacation home in Branson! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking lake views that greeted us. The peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true retreat, yet we were only a short 20-minute drive into town for all the fun activities. The house was spotless and so inviting! Everything was meticulously clean, and the towels and sheets smelled absolutely divine—like a cozy hug. It felt like a home away from home with all the little touches that made our stay so enjoyable. We had everything we needed, and it was so nice to have everything set up perfectly for us. Check-in was a breeze, and checkout was just as smooth, making our experience stress-free. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and we can't stop talking about our wonderful time! If you’re looking for a cheerful and serene escape with gorgeous views, this is the place for you! We can’t wait to come back!

Not family friendly

House is cheaply built, with no seclusion. It's located in a development, and lacks proper landscaping. There is just a few feet between houses on this lane, with no kind of privacy fence or screen. There had been so many chemicals put into the hot tub that we were actually shoveling bubbles out with our hands, but the smell was so strong we couldn't even stand it. That being said, while you're in the hot tub, you can literally hear the conversations of the people next door. The house itself needed a thorough cleaning. The beds were horrible, and the washer and dryer take forever! This property is not set up for young children. There is a long, steep staircase, no gates, no high chair. There was nothing that would make me want to come back. We would have gotten more comfort from a hotel. I was aggravated the entire week, that i had chosen this property for my family.
