Family fun at its best. You are steps away from West Bay Beach, scuba diving, restaurants, and activities of all kinds.

Casa Tortuga Bucedore (Home of the Diving Turtle) features spectacular views, inground pool, and white sand beach. It is a private Condo on the first floor that is steps away from the best beach on Roatan (West Bay) and a water taxi to West End.

Their are only 6 units in this condo. We are the middle unit on the bottom floor. It's a single story floor plan with steps into the condo from the parking and off the deck to the beach.

West Bay Beach is Roatan's most popular stretch of sand...which can mean it gets pretty busy some days! But don't worry, Bayside Villa 2B is located just at the edge of the beach, away from the crowds. Look for the island's parrots, find the Roatan Brewery, go to Gumbalimba Park, and Snorkel at the far end of West Bay Beach.

The condo is exactly as described. The location is perfect. Steps away from West Bay and walkable to West End. We really enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the deck as we watched the waves. John went above and beyond to take care of anything we needed.

Kevin responded promptly when I had questions. John, the property manager, was onsite if we needed anything. The condo is exactly what is pictured. The couch was comfortable. The bed was soft enough for me and firm enough for my husband. The sheets were a little rough for my liking. It was really nice to have a/c in the bedroom and main living area. Fullsize washer and dryer were wonderfull.

Great stay, beautiful property, perfect location

This was the perfect place for our family! The kids loved the pool and beach, and close enough to west bay to walk easily but far enough you feel the privacy we were looking for.

This must be the best location in West Bay!!! We enjoyed the beach, the ocean, the pool all so much. You are so close to restaurants but out of the hustle and bustle. Kitchen was well stocked. Large living room with comfy sofa. We will be back!

Fabulous Location

I would highly highly recommend this accomodation. The location was in my opinion the best in West Bay - within walking distance of the entire West Bay Area yet secluded at the oceanfront condo. Property manager on site was always quick to respond and extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent stay :)

Away from the crowds

We really enjoyed having our own space on the beach. The pool was a bit brisk, but provided great relief from the heat. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck were our favorite part.

Best location it is!!! Quiet and relaxing beach to yourself. John was a huge help and Julio takes care of the grounds and always happy to see you.Kevin the host gave great advise on driver Frankie. West Bay beach for snorkeling is a 20 minute walk and the best off the beach snorkeling.

Great location

We had a fantastic time at this condo. View was wonderful. John the property manager, Kevin owner of condo and Frankie and Eric our drivers were all very accommodating and helpful. Location is close to west bay activities but far enough away for quiet time to relax on patio. Will definitely be going back.

Our family of 5 had a lovely 7 night stay at this condo. The location was excellent. We were close to restaurants and bars, but secluded from the busy tourist scene of West Bay Beach. The condo was comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. The condition was good and could use updates, so if you are picky about staying in a modern/up-to-date place, you may want to look elsewhere. Kevin was always quick to respond to any questions I had prior and during our stay. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. However, hand soap by the sinks and extra trash bags were not.

At the beach

Very good location and excellent place for families. It is close to dive shops, restaurants, at the beach. All people we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. They helped arrange airport transportation and were very accommodating when we had an issue with one of the air conditioner units and promptly replaced it. The only issue I had with the property was not really their responsibility as there were several power failures during the week and no backup generator which would be a good investment. All in all in was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Excellent Location!

Amazing location ! So close to West Bay but still quiet and peaceful. Also just a 30 - 45 minute walk to West End along the shore if you don’t want to pay for a water taxi (some rocks so bring sandles or water shoes). The place big and spacious. Clean. The deck was perfect for having morning coffee on. The kitchen even had a blender for smoothie in the morning ! The power went out once but Jon was all over it and had it fixed super quick and fast ! Would definitely stay here again. No complaints ! Anyone would love it here !

Perfect stay, perfect location

The property is wonderful. The best part is the location. It is at the very east end of West Bay. Directly on the water with a perfect small bay for relaxing in the calm ocean water with a drink in hand. It’s a short 5 minute beach walk to all the restaurants and nightlife of West Bay but you can stay away from the beach crowds that come in daily of the cruise ships if you choose. The house itself has everything you need for an extended stay, like a full size washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Highly recommend this place and will return as soon as we can.

Paradise at West Bay

The property was amazing! Located just at the North End of West Bay. Easy walking to all areas. My family enjoyed the snorkeling right out the back door of the condo. The condo came well stocked and we could not have asked for anything more. Kevin was extremely responsive to all questions and gave great recommendations. John the property manager met us both arriving and departing to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to be back soon!

Loved it!

Great location and responsive host. The condo is just a short walk from West Bay. So you can be right in the thick of the busy area when you want. And can take a 15min walk to reach the main snorkeling section of West Bay. Also able to access West End easily by water taxi. However, if you want to chill, there is a nice little area right in front of the condo. Kevin was responsive to all questions and helped arrange transport to and from the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Most beautiful sunset and great support !!!

We went for a month (my 8 month old son, myself and my husband) and some family joined us during our stay. Kevin and his wife were EXTREMELY helpful by making sure i had everything needed to prepare my son's food and had all the information needed to have a safe and enjoyable stay. A big thanks to the property managers (John and Sophia) some of the nicest people I've ever met! Our son had bronchitis during our stay and we had to rush the hospital multiple times and we couldn't of been in better hands. A big thanks to everyone !

Rotan was beautiful. The televisions in our bedrooms bedroom did not work. We told the manager, but they did not get fixed.. We ran out of garbage sack could not find them. You need better communication!

Great location, needs a little attention

Overall we enjoyed the stay, but there were a couple of things that could have been better. The air conditioner in the second bedroom didn’t work the whole week we were there. John did come look at it the 2nd day we were there but said he’d have to get a technician to come fix it. Nobody ever showed up to fix it but it wasn’t a major issue since the other units kept it cool enough for our kids to sleep in there. The other issue was the master shower desperately needed a deep cleaning. We enjoyed the location, the pool, and there was a grounds worker that kept the outside area raked and picked up daily.

Fantastic place in the BEST location

My family started here for 1 week and had an incredible time. The condo is well equipped and in great condition. The view of the Caribbean really can't be beat. There is laundry, air conditioning and comfortable beds. We were able to walk over to West Bay for all of the activities and restaurants but without the begging in the middle of the crowds. We are able to walk over to our dive operator (Clearwater Adventures). The empanada man and the banana bread man come down the beach every morning and have the best empanadas and banana bread. My favorite thing is to drink my coffee on the deck in the morning and watch the macaws fly overhead. The beach is lovely and the reef is easy to swim to if you want to snorkel.

Best Location in West Bay

This condo is located in the perfect spot. You are 50 yards to the water from your patio door, away from the crowds and the closest restaurant is less than a minute away. There are several more restaurants within a 5 minute walk. West Bay can get crowded with tourists, cruise ship passengers and vendors. This condo avoids all of that with what feels like your own private beach. The complex only has 6 units with an onsite groundskeeper. The inside is spacious at 1200sf and well kept. You can take a water taxi to West End for $5/pp and about a 10 minute boat ride. Highly recommend Ginger's restaurant and Pazzo Italian. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Roatan.

Why they chose this property

We are avid scuba divers and visit every year to enjoy the pristine waters. The pictures in the dining area were taken during our dives by Kevin. We dive with Las Rocas which is right next door. And we love to eat there too.

What makes this property unique

Casa Tortuga Bucedore is part of a 6 unit condo right next to the beginning of West Bay Beach. So you get the amenities of a private rental and quick access to amazing restaurants and scuba shops. No car rental needed!
