Great house for a quiet retreat. Close to Burnt Store Marina, Matlacha, and Pine Island.
Cape Coral home with screened porches in the front and back with heated pool, to enjoy views of not only the sunrise but also Florida sunsets. This well-maintained home offers 3 bedrooms with private Den that could also be used as a fourth bedroom. 2 full baths. Just bring your toothbrush & bathing suit and come enjoy what SW Florida has to offer! A new park is just down the road, Crystal Lake Park, is a must to check out.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please refer to the house manual located on the kitchen counter for additional check-out guidance.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A minimum rental for Winter months are 3 to 4 months. Requirement are January to April months.
We pay for electric, but we will only cover up to $200.00 a month. You will be charged for anything over that. This is for the 3 to 4 month rentals.
There will be an additional cleaning fee if house is not properly cleaned. That includes the BBQ grill.

Great stay at Captains Retreat

We had a great stay at Captains Retreat.The house is a 5 star villa. It is very comfortable with everything you need. Gregg and Michelle are great hosts !There are a lot of things you can do in the Cape Coral area.

Excellent Cape Coral home

Communication with owner was fantastic. We had a slight hiccup upon arrival but she quickly responded and made everything right. Beatiful home, plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend

Wonderful family getaway

We had an amazing week at the Captains Retreat!!! Our house was very clean. Check in was easy with wonderful communication with our host. The beds were very comfortable. We had an amazing time in the pool, which was fully loaded with toys and rafts to relax in. Kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for early morning coffee by the pool. We will definitely recommend this place.

Just Do It!

If you're looking for a great, quiet, relaxing place to stay you have found it! Just book this wonderful home and be done because it has everything you could ask for. Owners are absolutely the sweetest...very quick to respond to questions and so accommodating. I can't say enough about our perfect experience staying at Captains Retreat. Will definitely be my "go to place" when staying in the area again. Close to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

Wonderful rest time

This house was perfect place to relax and to have a small family get together. I highly recommend it. Only issue was whistling from guess bathroom shower. We did not cook or grill, but as i seen everything was there and very clean. Will hopefully use it again while down visiting family.

The place like home

I loved the home! Everything was provided! From laundry detergent to fluffy towels, beach towels, fully equipped kitchen and many more! The home is modern and beautiful! Loved the screened front porch and of course the caged pool area. The spacious loving room has plenty of comfortable seating, it was nice to have my family over. Very quiet area, great for long walks and peaceful rest. Beds are extremely comfortable, linen smells fresh and clean. Owner is really nice and responsive. We will definitely go back! Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

Vacation

This place was an awesome space to hang out with family outside in the pool or even just to sit out on patio. The kitchen, living room, and dining room was open concept so you got to interact with family still. The bathrooms were big and the bedrooms were big as well. It was nice to have TVs in every room to unwind after the day before going to bed. The property owners answered in a very timely manner and were very nice. I cannot stress this enough but their beds were amazing! They were so comfortable and that is hard to come by when renting places but this did not disappoint as I slept amazing on the super comfy bed.

Perfection…

We selected this house because it was not in the middle of Cape Coral. We wanted a place to retreat to after celebrating holidays with family and this was perfect. Our host’s response to the minimal concern we had on Christmas Day was amazing and quick. The house is fantastic, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We love that it was close enough to a bar to watch the sunset and have delicious appetizers, and yet perfect distance from our family. We did not use the pool, but it’s gorgeous and heated! The barbecue is perfect, but we recommend an additional light out there since we grilled in the evening. Check-in and out was quick and easy. We would absolutely recommend this home without reservation and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you for all the special touches that make a difference between a nice place and a great one!

Captains Retreat is definitely a retreat.

Host was quick to respond to texts and send a handyman when needed. House was spacious.Kitchen well stocked with more items than I needed to prepare meals. Pool was amazing! We spent most of our time poolside, enjoying home cooked meals on the spacious outside table. Our stay was an enjoyable relaxing retreat! Peaceful, quiet, private area. No neighbors next door.
