Fantastic view and location

Great location - just steps away from the white sand and blue water. The view is perfect from the unit with its wall of windows and sliding doors. This unit is large - bigger than most condos we’ve stayed in throughout our many visits to Fort Walton Beach. The unit and property was clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again

Quick Getaway

The condo was awesome and larger than it appeared in the pictures. The cleaning crew was finished earlier than our check in and we were contacted by management allowing us to check in early. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We will be back!

Good time

This is the third time we have stayed at the Surf Dweller. The condo was nice and there were no issues. The other condos at SD we stayed at in the past offered more of the little things such as beach towels and things of that nature which were nice. But overall it was an enjoyable stay and we will come back.

The view was exceptional!!

We were pleasantly surprised at how roomy our place was. We especially enjoyed the large balcony. Our view was incredible, and there was plenty of room for all of us! The one problem was not enough blankets for the couch bed. We called housekeeping and got it taken care of fairly quickly.

The living room furniture is beginning to show some wear, but that is to be expected with a rental. The beach was not crowded, and having the chairs/umbrella provided was a plus. The rental company was very nice, quick to respond, and provided all the information needed. We were also able to check in 2 hours early. Will definitely return.

Poor communication

Was originally booked in Unit 208, that had sofa sleeper, was contacted day before check in and was told unit would not be ready was switched to 605 no sleeper, I asked for compensation for my inconvenience got no reply very disappointed. So much for common courtesy

Beautiiful View and Awesome Accessibility

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful oondo with lots of space for the six of us.(adult couples and teenage boys) The view and the location were fantastic. Because of the size of the property and the surrounding properties our beach had a very manageable crowd. Beach chairs were set up in one row vs bodies everywhere. The condo itself was very updated and well furnished. However, unlike many condos I have stayed at in the past, you must bring EVERYTHING. From coffee filters to toilet paper to laundry detergent to beach toys. This particular condo had dishes and silverware and that was about it. Also, the pool is STREET SIDE not beach side. This was pretty disappointing to us because we love the ocean but don't necessarily like swimming in the June grass, algae and getting targeted by the tiny jelly fish. Also, there are NO amenities at this property except the pool and beach chairs.

Yes, Surf Dweller, like advertised on our website, does have a smaller pool and it's on the parking lot side of the property, we hope you saw this when you were browsing and finding the right condo for your vacation. Unfortunately we cannot change the setup of the property, but we do have it advertised exactly how it is this very moment and we hope all future guests see in the photos on our website. ON the positive side of this, there is literally nothing in between you in your condo and the Gulf of Mexico so you don't have to worry about noisy kids in the pool ruining your morning coffee on your private balcony. Beach chair setup is complimentary and provided to you by us at Brooks and Shorey Resorts, as all our condos get this amenity also. There are plenty of properties that we rent that have great amenities including gym, gulf side pool, hot tub, please just call us next time you are looking to book so we can give you details on everything available to you. This is an amazing condo and the updates are endless, we hope you enjoyed these. We do provide starters of necessities in our condos but no perishables, this is our policy and was in the confirmation email you received immediately upon booking with us. We hope you come back for a repeat visit to the beautiful Emerald Coast!!
