Welcome toThe Blackberry Room at Prairie Base! Boasting panoramic views and all the comforts of home, this 1-bathroom studio vacation rental offers a quiet escape to a family cattle ranch between Rolla & St. James, Missouri just off I-44. You'll enjoy comforts like plush mattresses, soaking tub, kitchenette, & washer/dryer. Visit Missouri S&T, spend a day at Fugitive Beach, or sample local libations in St. James! After, enjoy the patio or relax by the fire pit.
A shared 30' x 50' in ground pool is available seasonally.

Studio cottage with open floor plan. Everything in this space is new! The brand new king bed features two twin XL mattresses with adjustable bases.

We are excited to host you on the farm and live nearby if you need anything.

This place was close to our son at Missouri S&T. It was very clean and had everything you could want. The inside is very modern and the bed was comfortable. If we need to ever stay in Rolla again we would stay here again.

Beautiful setting and room. All amenities were stocked everything was placed well and obviously well cared for. The booklet of things in the area and other info was a great touch. I wrote down somethings from that book for next time. Me and my wife would definitely like to stay again. Hopefuy next time we have more time and better weather to do a farm tour!

Wonderful- relaxing

Beautiful property. Quiet with no light pollution. We’ve never explored Rolla before and found the town and property to be wonderful. We tries Salt and Water -recommended by the hosts. Hands down one of the best meals we have had in years. We look forward to coming back to again for another weekend getaway.

Perfect stay!

This was a perfect space! My husband and I wanted a small get away not to far from home (St. Louis) and it was exactly what we were looking for! Property looks exactly like the pictures, very clean, had a few items you might need such as coffee creamer, we appreciated that when we forgot ours! Hosts were great with checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Enjoyed the quietness of the environment. Location is a 10 minute drive from anything you could need. We will definitely be staying here for future visits to the area!

Lovely country home

This property is as pictured, slightly larger than I expected. Its easy to find and yet still feels rural. The inside is beautifully designed and the host has added extra touches like snacks, coffee and bath soaps that make it feel special. You will love the adjustable, massaging bed! This property is within 30 minutes of wonderful places to eat, Meramec Springs Park and the winery! I highly recommend The Blackberry Room for a couple to explore the area.
