Tropical villa in a private condominium, with wonderful views over the beachfront. Walking distance (200m) from luxuriant, desert beach. The house comprises 5 suite bedrooms (two as separate guest units), dining room, office space and a scenic living room over the dunes and tropical landscape. Outside, a separate dining and cooking area. The overflow swimming pool meets an exhuberant garden. Meals will be prepared by the unique Dona Suzana, an exquisite cook ready to offer both local flavors and international cuisine. Internet, cable TV, bikes. Condominium facilities included, such as fitness, tennis, football pitch, sauna, jacuzzi, private movie theater.

Excelente imóvel, com uma localização incrível, perfeito para uns dias de descanso como se pretendia. A mais valia assegurada pela cozinheira Dª. Susana e o apoio logístico da sua filha Adriana são inigualáveis (e essenciais para que a qualidade da estadia suba para novos - e muito elevados - patamares..).

Paradise in Bahia

We loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. The home and location are fabulous. We loved the food prepared by Susanna. Everyone was very helpful and made our trip very memorable. Hope we can return some day!

Maravilhosa!

Casa com instalações muito confortáveis, excelente localização, condominio tranquilo e organizado. D.Suzana e Maria, funcionárias da casa, fazem a diferença! Muito acolhedoras e prestam um serviço de ótima qualidade!! Surpreendeu a todos de forma positiva! Com ceeteza indico e alugarei mais vezes!

Sensacional!!!

Acabamos de chegar de um fim de semana inesquecível na casa de S. Joaquim! Além de linda, a casa é muito chique, aconchegante, charmosa e confortável. Casa digna de revista, que nos deixou encantados. Além de tudo perfeito, ainda ganhamos de presente o carinho de Dona Suzana, Daiana e Adriana, pessoas especiais que cuidam de tudo com amor. Dona Suzana cozinha divinamente e, junto com Daiana, fez com que nos sentíssemos especiais! Voltaremos em breve, com certeza. Ah ... a casa é ainda mais linda do que nas fotos!!! Dias perfeitos!

Passamos nossas ferias de janeiro na casa do Sr Joaquim e tivemos uma experiencia maravilhosa. O condominio eh lindo e super bem cuidado, a casa eh extremamente confortavel, bem decorada e cuidada. O Proprietario eh muito gentil e tranquilo. Tudo que foi combinado foi atendido. Tivemos a ajuda da D Suzana na cozinha, com um astral maravilhoso e comidas deliciosas (cozinheira de mao cheia!). Enfim, somente pontos positivos. Vamos voltar!

LOCAL PERFEITO... AMAMOS SEMPRE

Fomos pela segunda vez à este paraíso e simplesmente amamos este local, sempre, Sr. Joaquim sempre tão atencioso, preocupado e flexível conosco, a vontade é estar todos os anos por aí, é um verdadeiro refugio, local para relaxamento, reabastecer as energias, casa perfeita, rica em detalhes e muito bem equipada com itens de extrema qualidade, roupas de cama, mesa, banho e utensílios. A Dna. Suzana, uma cozinheira maravilhosa, de mão cheia, enfim, local maravilhoso, só temos boas lembranças.

Just perfect!

We had two wonderful weeks at Joaquims house! It is a beautiful very well kept house. It was also amazing to have Suzana and Adriana, which did everything to make our stay perfect. They even introduced us to an english speaking family a few houses away. Suzanas excellent cooking has been mentioned in many reviews and we can only agree - she is an excellent cook. Our boys, 8, 10, 12 years loved our vacation, surf lessons almost every day, pool to play in and they where invited to play soccer at night with the other kids from the complex.

Casa perfeita. Verdadeiro paraíso!!!

Ficamos três dias na casa do Sr. Joaquim e, conforme a descrição, é o verdadeiro paraíso. Os quartos são extremamente confortáveis e equipados, total segurança e o melhor - uma bela vista para a lagoa e o mar. A cozinheira D. Susana e a arrumadeira Dai são ótimas e com certeza fazem a diferença para deixar a estadia ainda melhor. Além disso, o proprietário Joaquim Mouro é prestativo e atencioso e faz questão de garantir que a hospedagem seja 100%. A casa é bem equipada, possui toda a roupa de cama e banho necessárias, bem limpa e cheirosa e cada canto tem uma decoração muito acolhedora. Ideal para reunir a família! A piscina é muito boa e conta com um quiosque com uma mesa grande de madeira, ideal para longas conversas. Recomendamos!!! Wagner e família.

Chilled out days and cakes

We have just spent a week in Joaquim's house in Costa do Saiupe in total bliss and relaxation. The area is outstandingly beautiful and being out of season there was no one around. I imagine it is very lively in the gated compound when the houses are occupied in high season. Dona Susana and her daughter Adriana looked after us daily with delicious local dishes or any other culinary request we had. At least two cakes a day were baked for us to taste (and finish). Though we mainly stayed in and around the house and beach there is a lot to explore nearby in terms of nature and sport. It is worth driving out to Praia do Forte one night for the bustle of the high street. We had saudades the moment we left.

Amazing - Super fantástico

The house of Joaquim in Praia do Forte was amazing. Correspondence and instructions were easy and timely. It was in fact, perfect. We had a very large group (10 people) and it was an ideal accommodation. Everything was kept impeccably clean; there was an incredible amount of space. The entire property was perfect for late night walks to the beach, runs throughout the complex, soccer games, it was splendid. The beach and the pool were beautiful, and the ability to open the living room brought the Brazilian outdoors to us. I didn’t even mention the cooking of Dona Suzana. My wife and I were curious to sample all the local regional dishes of Bahia and Dona Suzana made them all (she even made pie for dessert several nights). She was a wonderful woman and made our stay that much more special. Cant wait to go back. Thank you so much.

we had a great time, it´s like in paradise

We have been in the house already 4 times in the last 4 years. We had a great time. The house is well maintained and equipped. a beautifull beach in a short walk from the house over the dunes. It´s located in a save and secure condominium. The housemaid "Susana" is a pearl............... The only thing is you hav to rent a car to go out to the restaurants or to drive to the next supermarket. We will rent the house again for the next November.

Dias maravilhosos

Acabamos de chegar de uns dias maravilhosos passados na casa do Sr Joaquim. Já tenho saudades e penso em voltar com certeza. A casa é maravilhosa , muito bem cuidada e fomos mto bem recebidos pela ótima cozinheira D Suzana e por Débora sua ajudante. Elas pensavam em tudo para tornar a nossa estadia igual a um hotel 5 estrelas. O condominio é ótimo, muito bonito e tem tudo em lazer, como academia , campo de golfe etc. A praia é linda e bastante privativa . Me lembrarei para sempre dos dias de sol com a brisa do mar nesta casa maravilhosa. Silvia Pellegrini

Verdadeiro Paraíso...

Passamos nossas férias de Julho com nossa família e parentes, considerando crianças e idosos e super indicamos o local, por se tratar do conjunto perfeito, tratativa com Sr. Joaquim, casa, localização, estadia e serviços. Cada canto que olhávamos sentíamos o carinho empregado naquele local e agradecíamos a Deus por tanta beleza natural, bem como, da casa, achamos uma das mais belas, rica em detalhes e de extremo bom gosto, também gostaríamos de deixar registrado que a presença da Dna Suzana fez toda a diferença para nós, também Larissa (custo a parte) que nos ajudou com a organização e limpeza e que nos fizeram sentir um imenso prazer de estar naquele local, ótimas profissionais de copa e cozinha e cuidados conosco e com a residência, verdadeira cheff e profissional de limpeza que se mostraram tão disponíveis e com tanto amor pelo que fazem. Com certeza voltaremos à este paraíso !!!

We - Joaquim (61) and Paula (60) - fell in love with Bahia the first time we came here. It's the perfect getway from the (not so rigorous) winter in the Algarve, south of Portugal, where we (still) live and work (Joaquim as a laywer and Paula as a pharmacist). We are at our best when we come down to the house with family and friends to enjoy what only Bahia has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Breathtaking views over the beachfront that evolve as the day turns into night and day again. An outside dining and cooking area where you will enjoy Dona Suzana's fish muqueca and barbecues, as you watch the moon rise up over the dunes. Daily strolls to the beach wile crossing a tropical, bio diverse environment.
