About this property

Cozy little guest house on Turkey Creek Farm!

We want to share this cozy oasis with you! A simple ranch style one bedroom, one bath, fully furnished kitchen and beautiful farm views are sure to make for a comfortable weekend getaway or an overnight stay on your way to the OBX. We are located off of 64 bypass, less than an hour from both little Washington and Greenville, NC, and only 100 miles from Nags Head! No Smoking inside or on the decks! No Pets/ No children (under 18). Not set up to accommodate working crews.

Cozy and perfect

This little cottage was perfect for us and the quiet location was a plus. The owner was very thoughtful by checking to make sure we weren’t lost because we were late arriving. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. The owners left bottled water for us, which was a nice touch because of the well water. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re back in the area!

Lovely quiet farm

This is our second time here. Nice country farm with sheep, ducks, and chickens. Very peaceful and quiet. The cottage is super cute and immaculate. It has everything we needed including fresh eggs, coffee, creamer, etc. It’s in a convenient location and not too far from Edenton and Washington. The owners are really nice and helpful.

Amazing! The Property was so clean and well furnished! The host was extremely responsive and easy to work with! Check in and check out were painless. So many towels and pillows! Great kitchen! Great views in a quiet and tranquil environment but still close to shopping, restaurants and activities. I just can't wait to go back!!!

Absolutely perfect!

We love everything about this stay except that we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We arrived late and the host greeted us with a smile. The cottage is so well done and comfortable. We had to leave early in the morning but got up in time to walk the property and see the animals and breathe in cool, fresh air. Absolutely perfect stay. Well done!

A wonderful stay and a relaxing retreat

This was a wonderful experience! The Whitehurst family was so very kind and gracious that we are already looking forward to next year! We got a bit lost as the roads were dark and GPS is not always accurate, but Melinda directed us and met us at the door! The house was modern and charming and very, very comfortable. In addition to spending time with friends, we were able to get some downtime that we really needed as well. It was a really great experience! 5 Stars across the board!

Great place to break up the trip to OBX

My mother, wife, and I stayed here one night on our way to help break up the trip to the Outer Banks. The place was clean, well stocked with coffee and the essentials. The one bathroom was off the bedroom, so my mother had to walk through the bedroom in the middle of the night. Certainly no issue, but just something to be aware of. I was worried about losing cellphone service in eastern NC, so had to reach out to get the check-in process, but the hosts were very responsive so it wasn't an issue at all. Everything else was wonderful and we would gladly stay here again in the future!

Cute and Cozy.

From the time of booking, Melinda was kind and quick to answer any questions. Her friendliness and warm hospitality matched the cottage. I was unable to attend but my husband went and from the first moment he walked in called me to say how beautiful it was. One of the sweetest gestures were the cookies she baked for our ECU student. The closest store was about a 10 minute drive away which is the only reason my review is not a straight 5. I gave 4 stars for the location. Definently not enough to keep us from rebooking. My husband says we will definitely go back
