Rustic River Cabins offer a view and space that anyone could appreciate. The cabins sit high on the Mississippi River bluffs surrounded by nature and a one of a kind view of the river below. Located seconds for historic downtown Savanna IL and the Mississippi Palisades State Park. Located near a public boat ramp and plenty of room to park boats.
The space
Each cabin has 2 queen beds located in the loft overlooking the living area below. The living area features a futon that can also be used as a queen bed, allowing the cabin to sleep up to 6 people. Each cabin has a full kitchenette with fridge/freezer, stove top, oven and sink. Full size bathroom including a shower. Every cabin has a large covered porch with seating and a view. Cabins have rustic feel but feature all modern amenities including central air, heat and hot water.
Guest access
The whole cabin is available, including outdoor space with a grill, firepit, and picnic table.

We had the most wonderful weekend at Rustic River Cabin 3 in Savanna, Illinois! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The area is beautiful, and the views from the cabin are stunning—we even got to watch eagles flying around! It was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be back!

Mesmerizing Mississippi

What a special place. The views were spectacular. We heard birds we don’t normally hear. The porch was spectacular. The cabin was charming. The only thing I would request would be a night light for going down the stairs in the middle of the night. We hope to return again to this lovely cabin.
