The location was perfect. Walked to Historic area, restaurants and boardwalk. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy! I would highly recommend this VRBO

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay.
Kitchen was bigger than we expected and more than adequate check in procedure. Once we got the information from the property manager was extremely easy.
Very clean house in a great location. Can walk to the main street area. The kitchen is equipped for regular cooking. We found the beds to be comfortable for us.
Excellent location within walking distance to the waterfront.Excellent communication with property owners, Elizabeth and Tim.The Honeycomb Cottage was everything we needed for a short stay. Would definitely rent again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the weekend when we weren’t at the golf tournament. The only issue we had was with the lock but got response from owner very quickly. Would definitely book again.
Great location. Easy walk to waterfront, shopping, bars, coffee, and restaurants. Elizabeth was quick to respond to my questions. Would stay here again.
Great little house perfectly located close to so much to do from the beach, to fishing, and sight seeing to great food and shopping and everything in between. The hosts were wonderful and I couldn't have asked for better! The house and property are clean and well taken care of and we had a wonderful stay!! I will definitely be back here again and look forward to it next visit to the area!!! Thanks Elizabeth I really appreciate you!
We loved the location and communication with the owner. An 8 minute walk to the waterfront and evwn closer (2 minutes) to the Farmer's Market. Note is that the driveway is pretty narrow so no room to turn around (so you need to either back into the drive or back into the road when leaving. Only other thing was we did feel the yard needed to be mowed/trimmed. Besides that minor observation, we loved staying here and would do so again.
This is the first time I’ve ever been to Beaufort. This Airb&b couldn’t be in a more perfect spot. It’s within walking distance to downtown Beaufort which is absolutely gorgeous. Super close and convenient to Atlantic Beach and many others. The property managers are super sweet and nice people. The house is fully equipped with any and everything you will need for your stay. The beds are super comfortable. This will definitely be mine and my husbands go to place and Airb&b for vacation for now on. Thank you guys for being so awesome and sharing such a wonderful place with us.
The house it self was nice, old but nice, we are a tall family and my husband hit his head on door frames more than once. The location if pulling a boat is not good. No lighting out front other than some solar lights, we arrived after dark. The lock box was on the back door which was not mentioned so i had to stumble around in the dark to get in.

Janet, I am sorry you didn't see in the message sent with check in info about the lock being on the back door. There is a motion light at the corner of the back which comes on as you drive it. We have never had a complaint about the house not being suitable for tall people. We are very sorry your husband hit his head. I hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
Beds are not queen size. We sleep on a queen bed and home and these are definitely smaller. Probably closer to a full or double. Had roaches in the house. One was possibly dying from pesticides but still was quite lively and one I killed in the bathroom on the wall. Should probably spray more often. Everything else was great. Thanks

Kevin, sorry about The roaches, we will defInitey have our pest control company spray again. We‘ve had a lot oF rain which usually drives them insIde. Regarding the beds, they are definitely Queen beds!
I found the HoneyComb disappointing, although the host was very responsive and the location was convenient to the downtown area. "Neglected" best describes the exterior of the home. After I booked, I messaged the host about parking as there were no pictures of the driveway or the backyard. The host responded quickly and added a picture to the listing showing a long, freshly graveled driveway with a well-manicured brick sidewalk to the house. That's not what we found when we arrived. The brick sidewalk was barely visible due to the weeds. The owner did warn us that they were participating in "No Mow May." The program doesn't preclude weeding walkways; seems important at a rental property. The downspout for the front porch rain gutter was laying in the grass. The paint on the porch floor was peeling down to the bare wood in places. The only piece of furniture was one dirty, broken, plastic Adirondack chair. The siding was also filthy. All this combined with the loud traffic due to the property's proximity to one of the busiest intersections in Beaufort made the front porch undesirable. The back yard was no better; two more dirty Adirondack chairs on a "deck" that really wasn't a deck but a platform without railings. Random piles of bricks and cinder blocks, rodent traps and a neglected outbuilding made it no more inviting than the front. The inside of the house has uneven floors requiring a step down into the kitchen and a step up into the bathroom; something worth mentioning.
