This is a country home, pure and simple- it’s an hour away from groceries and there’s stuff in the yard. But that’s the magic of this place…quiet, surrounded by nature (including Forest Service- and National parkland, bright stars, and a great place to throw a log in the stove and hang. The kitchen is well equipped (induction stove if you’re bringing an extra large pot for example), and the host was responsive and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again.
It was a lovely stay. Really pretty cabin. Location is pretty out far. Important to be prepared for food and necessities as there is no restaurant or store around.
House and property exactly as described in text and pictures. Host (David) provided prompt communications and accommodated our very late arrival time with accurate directions to his lit home.Lots of singing birds in the morning and visible stars at night.Whole family greatly enjoyed our stay!

Visit to Sequoia and Kings Canyon
We had a great trip and enjoyed the experience. The cabin is being renovated and it will be nice. The remoteness was surprising.
We were very impressed with how well stocked this cabin was, particularly given how remote it is. Even had women's sanitary supplies which is so thoughtful! Property is as advertised, cabin is spacious, confieting and welcoming. Also, when I reached out with a couple questions, host Dave responded almost immediately. The whole family had a great stay and were impressed with the accommodation. Highly recommend this host and stay.
Creepy at night. But, beautiful by day. Wonderful property. Tranquil

It definitely gets dark up here. Great for star gazing. All of the neighbors look out for each other so shouldn’t be too creepy. Thank you for staying with me.
Wonderful getaway cabin and property. Surrounded by the sound of nature and a peaceful creek down the way. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with all amenities & wifi. Host is very kind and helpful. We had the wood fire stove going all night and it was super cozy. We had a great friends and family trip - Highly recommend!
Wonderful location. So quiet, peaceful, tranquil. Everything we were hoping for during this time away. Host has done a wonderful job of preparing home for guests- kitchen has absolutely everything, beds are really comfortable, towels are plush and front porch - what a view! We will return in the future.
It was really fun! The owner was super nice, and welcoming. The upstairs closet is massive, and we used it as an extra room! Many blankets were provided so that was nice. The fridge and cabinets were all stocked with updated appliances. The TV had tons of premium channels. We will definitely be returning!

Hey Mike thank you for the kind words. You and your family are welcome back anytime
It was just what our family needed. A place up in the mountains away from the busy city life. There was no service but the host gave us the WiFi information the day we checked in and it worked great. We enjoyed our time there, and visited the Sequoia National Park (about an hour drive, but worth it to us). We do plan to come back in the spring. It was perfect for our family of 5, kids ages 15, 11 & 6. Everything you need right there :)

It was a pleasure hosting Amber and her family. They were respectful and took care of my house and left it nice and tidy. They’re welcome to stay with me any time.
Firstly, David is a great host and responds quickly to our inquiries. He is very accommodating. The home is up to date with an induction stove, heating system, and Netflix/Youtube accessible TV. My family of 6 (1 furry friend included) slept comfortably. The two bedrooms sleep 2 couples well and there is also a large couch that can fit another two. The area has a nice road that you can walk and see the local owned horses. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay between Kings Canyon and Sequoia.
Lovely and very comfortable cabin and just the right amount of room to fit a family of 7 like we were. The cabin has state of the art commodities like brand new appliances and comfy sized beds. There is also high speed internet provided and that’s important because there is zero cell signal out there, the place is about an hour away from Sequoia Nat Park and the surroundings are beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. David the owner communicated promptly and the instructions on how to access the place and its amenities were very clear. I even forgot my reading glasses and he was kind enough to send them to me via mail all the way to my residence! I highly recommend this place and look forward in staying here again.
