We stayed while attending the WI state fair. Quiet and safe neighborhood and really close to the fairgrounds. House was clean and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our Frenchie.

I didnt realize that the hot tub was not available in winter months. The listing notes that the ambient temp needs to be 45 but honestly, just say its only available may- september. The house is old, charming, tidy and comfortable with plenty of room to cook in the kitchen. The beds we slept in were very cozy. Hot water takes a while to make it to the bathroom but you're on vacation- whats the rush. This is out of their control but there is massive road construction all around the home (3/2026). Its close to the city and there is a wonderful coffee shop 5 minutes away. The host was super responsive, left snacks for us and water in the fridge- such a nice thing to find in a new place. Thank you!
This house was the perfect place for a quick girls weekend getaway!! It was clean and quiet and in a perfect location.

Owners went the extra mile to make the stay comfy and cozy. Nice sheets, great beds, snacks to name a few! House was as pictured in photos and neighborhood was safe.
For four adults we had plenty of room and the little extra's made us smile! We truly enjoyed our relaxation time before our crazy Graduation Sunday!

This home was perfect for our needs! Location was great, very clean home, comfortable bed, overall nice area. We would definitely stay here again! Response time from host was quick. Thank you ~
Host was very responsive and very easy to work with. Was little confused by the bathroom as I thought the description stated 1 full bathroom and 1/2 bath. There was only one full bathroom. Otherwise, everything else was good.
Great stay for a group of guys to go to a Brewers game. Reasonable walking distance from the stadium. Plenty of free street parking. Plenty of space and sleeping areas. Very responsive to messages.

Great stay in Milwaukee. A great place to base yourself for a few days in town. Accurate listing. Backyard and patio were especially nice. Lots of little things had been thought of. Will come back the next time we are in town.

Thanks Fraser, we will certainly look for ward to your return!
The owner of this house really has guests comfort at the forefront of this VRBO property. The house was beautifully decorated but beyond that it has so many "extras" that I would never have expected, snacks, bottled water, coffee, beverages in the fridge etc.. I thought that generally if It I needed it, it was provided. Great place to stay.

Thanks Mary! And may your next trip bring you back to us. We were happy to host you and Bill.
This home was so welcoming and easy to stay at! Without fuss, I cooked up groceries we bought and walked the dog to a near by park. After dinner we took a short drive to play darts and were welcomed by the neighborhood bar as if we were locals. When my husband snored too loud, the additional guest rooms were just as comfortable as the master. The sweet sitcom decor reminds you to appreciate the history you can still feel in the home; the backyard was wonderful and secure; the kitchen made sense and was easy to work in - can't wait to come back when it's warmer!

About the host

Hello, I'm a big fan of our city. When I was a young adult in the 90s, I traveled a lot. And when I mentioned my hometown, Milwaukee, people would often reference the pop shows Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley, hence the theme. I hope you enjoy the home as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
The Happy Days House is a corner lot on a tree lined street / neighborhood setting on a hill with a great porch to enjoy. But its central location was key! Tucked away from the business of downtown, it’s only blocks from the highway entrance making it super convenient to be at any of the many Milwaukee destinations. Guest can quickly be at American Family Field, the Summerfest grounds, the State Fair Park, Froedtert Hospital/MCW, the VA, the Zoo, Domes, Marquette University, UWM, lakefront areas, downtown- Foserv Forum, the Third Ward, Milwaukee Marketplace, and the RiverWalk with our famous Bronze Fonz.
What makes this property unique
The Happy Days theme is uniquely Milwaukee. However, the theme is subtle. The cast are arranged on tables and bookshelves like beloved family photos. Overall, the house is attractive for anyone familiar with those characters or not.
It's a country cottage decor with comfortable beds/bedrooms and living spaces. It has a full kitchen with all you might need to cook Thanksgiving dinner, for example. I've also added and extra touches for your convenience. The front porch is great for morning coffee three seasons of the year. The fenced-in back yard with the fire-pit and bar-b-que area are wonderful for your summer outdoor cooking and storytelling. It feels like your second country home in a Milwaukee neighborhood.
