My family had the best stay. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the retro decor. The beach was quiet and perfect for my little grandkids to play! We even enjoyed playing in the cool water. We watched the sunrise every morning and used the fire pit and kayaks. Location was perfect! Close enough to Canal Park and the city to do fun things. We will be back!

If you’re into 60’s retro homes, this is the place for you!! The architecture is similar to FLW and all the vintage stuff works. The location is Great with the backyard being a sandy beach. The Hist had lots of towels, laundry supplies, firewood, kitchen essentials and anything else you would need. This is the perfect rental house when you’re in Duluth. The driveway is Tricky to find, so be patient on arrival.

Thank you for the 5 star review, we are happy to hear that your experience was a great one. We hope to host you again soon!
We absolutely love this property! While the furnishings have been updated a bit since our first stay a few years ago, the floorplan and decor is still very retro. Peach colored tile in the bathroom, large sectional in the living room, low bench in front of the floor to ceiling windows, and a large kitchen with a eating counter and tons of counter space and cupboards may seem dated to some, but we embraced it. Picture the sets of "Madmen!" We enjoyed cooking our meals in the big kitchen, loved having fires both in the outdoor firepit and the stone fireplace in the living room, and loved the easy access to miles of shoreline on the magnificent Lake Superior. Plenty of outdoor space to play yard games in nice weather and kayaks for anyone who wants to explore the big lake. The home is just a few miles from the eateries and attractions in the Canal Park area. We're already planning our next visit. Be sure to clarify directions on how to access the property. It's a bit tricky and our GPS took us out of the way. Once we found it, we remembered the driveway access from our prior visit.
