The chalet is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home with an additional 2 loft rooms in the basement and a separate "Caban a Sucre" (Bunkie) located on the shore of Lac du Raquettuer.
15 mins drive to Mont Tremblant for groceries, shopping, dining, night life etc.
10 minutes to Mont Blanc Ski hill.
The space
Travel back in time 50 years to this traditional Quebecois chalet. Perched on the side of Mont Blanc and on the water of "Lac du Raquetteur" this chalet and property is close to the best of what the Mont Tremblant area has to offer while still getting your own piece of natural beauty.
The chalet sits on an acre of property excellent wifi inside, outside and down at the dock - even out on part of the lake.
Indoor Features
The chalet has two bedrooms upstairs, each with a double bed, and a bathroom with a sink and toilet. The master bedroom has a walk out porch with a beautiful view overlooking the lake, mountains, and property. Updated electric heating throughout the property to keep you warm on cold nights.
The main level is where you can find the updated kitchen, living room with pull out sofa , 55 inch Smart TV , 4 piece bathroom, workstation, outdoor activity equipment storage room, and laundry room.
This is where you will also find an antique Quebecois stove that can be used to heat the chalet in the colder months, and generally an altogether unique experience. (Wood and instructions, and information book provided - there is electric heating throughout the chalet
In the basement you will find a cozy space for the kids to unwind after a long day of activities. There are two loft areas with their private living quarters and a pull out couch for those with larger families. There is a 32 inch Smart TV mounted on the wall with an HDMI cord for laptop connection.
The other living space on the property is our "Caban a Sucre" which sleeps up to 4 people. There is a double bed with a single bed on top and a pull out single bed underneath. This is a 4 season Bunkie with its own electric heating, mini fridge and a few basic amenities for convivence.
Outdoor Features
There is a large, elevated walk around porch with an area for dining, sitting in the shade, or watching the hummingbirds drink their nectar while reading a book.
On the main level outside you can find a large grassy area outside the walk out basement door. To your right you will see the hot tub, firepit, and sitting area. If you look to your left you will see a larger shaded sitting area, the "Caban a Sucre" and a wood shed.
The path in the middle of the grass level leads to stairs and a large concrete retaining wall with large rocks holding the mountain in place.
At the waterfront you will find a large dock, row boat, canoe, and pedal boat. There are two Adirondack chairs, a bench and additional chairs to accommodate more people - and a floating raft.
There is also a path from the waterfront that leads to the sitting area near the "Caban a Sucre."
Parking for up to six cars.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the Chalet and Caban a Sucre.
The property features a private gravel access with parking for 6 vehicles.
Other things to note
A guide book on the Airbnb app provides information about Mont Blanc and area.
A canoe, pedal boat and aluminum row boat with electric motor available for guest use.
Life jackets available in the storage room on the patio.
You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect.

Additional rules

2. Parking for 6 vehicles is available.
3. No smoking inside the chalet. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided.

5. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 10 people.
6. Quiet time after 11:00pm.
7. No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room.
8. Dispose of the garbage in the trash bin.
9. No pets allowed.
10. Make sure to turn off the lights, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock all doors and sliding doors.
11. Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.
12. Wash the dishes, and throw out the garbage before checkout.
