Set on the idyllic Long Lake and just minutes from downtown and Crystal Mountain Ski, this retreat promises a memorable stay Up North! With contemporary style found in the 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 2 living spaces, there`s plenty space for the whole family to enjoy themselves. Traverse City is just over 8 miles away, while Sleeping Bear Dunes awaits along Lake Michigan; after a day on the water, pick up some local beer or wine and sip around the fire pit as you unwind at the vacation rental.

This house was beautiful. The common spaces were ideal for having family dinners, and the deck was an amazing setting for soaking up the sun and winding down by the fire. We loved our time here and the setting was the perfect space to create long lasting memories

Picture perfect stay on Long Lake. Everything was very well prepared for our stay. The kids spent hours on the lake kayaking and paddle boarding. Evenings were spent by the bonfire. We love being 15 minutes from Traverse - not too close, not too far. The house itself was beautifully decorated and thoughtful for their guests- plenty of dish soap, TP, pots, pans, glasses. We never eat out when we’re at the lake so this was nice to have good pans that you can make eggs in. Many other places have the bare minimum and in the past we have had to go out and buy a pan. We definitely plan to come back!

Beautiful house

Really well done home. Fully stocked with everything you might need. Everything worked and the one minor issue we had was taken care of same day. Online listing doesn't do the property justice. Really a wonderful trip with memories that will last a lifetime.

Wow!! We have rented homes for our annual vacation with our sons and daughters in law since 2016, both internationally and around the United States. This home was tied for #1 with our crew. Excellent condition, perfect setting on beautiful Long Lake, and a great layout for a family gathering. The great room and spacious kitchen was a natural gathering place for the family. The kitchen upstairs has top notch appliances, and every utensil (multiple) that you can imagine. If you plan to cook (which each couple hosted during the week), you will never need a spice that they don't have! The bedroom layout is excellent, with two bedrooms on the lower level which are far enough away from the upstairs great room for families with children who need naps and a quieter setting. Our host Paige, gave us a contact to also rent a pontoon boat that we used during the week. He did a great job teaching us the operation of the boat, along with the specifics of the lake. The hot tub situated on the deck overlooking the lake was used frequently by our adult children.The documentation for the home, places to eat and visit were excellent. My wife and I are from Michigan, so we have travelled to Traverse City many times, but we also learned some new place this week. You are close to so many things you might need (Meijer is only 10 minutes away), but yet you are still away from it all when you are at this home.Just can't say enough about the home and host/hostess. Hope to come back next year!
